@@RickyhoImes since when do sites of grace remove the pickled fowl foot buff? The mohgwyn palace cliff bird rune farm spot would be way worse if grace sites cancelled the buff
You can cheese the cavalry knight at night time by standing on the outside edge of the bridge for ez 48k runes. Also, loot the graves he ran past, it's free runes.
On ps5. Upload save to cloud before fighting and turn off auto upload. Then you can always redo if you fail. Just go to dragon, rest, go to ps5 main menu. Press ps button while highlighting the game and pick upload download save games. Then manually backup the game. Itll turn off autosave as well. Now if you fail, just reload the cloud save

Fun note for the first farming method, if you do the boulder dodge at night (in-game obvi) there’s a chance that the boulder/enemy is a golden eyed enemy and nets you almost 9k runes.
Anytime of day, just an extremely low chance. I did it on my own a while back before I knew how to get to Moghwyn Palace and it would spawn one of these special ones maybe every 70-75ish balls
UPDATE AS OF AUGUST 2024. THIS STILL WORKS. I see a lot of people are having trouble with the dragon farm and what I’m realizing is players are either skipping steps OR don’t know how to sprint, make sure you watch a video on how to sprint on the horse. This still works!
for me it does that big flinch when i hit it and the rest of the health bar is yellow then i rest and i get the runes you just have to get that big flinch while riding your mount then instantly run and rest
The fourth method is for when you beat the base game at the palace ledge site of grace because you need the specific weapon but its the best farming method since you get like 120k runes every 20-30 seconds
This video came in clutch; originally bought this on Xbox when it came out and just had to rebuy for my PS5; totally worth it but losing my progress was not fun. Nice to have a quick way to get through the base game I’ve already beaten on Xbox

Works! I need around 36 flail hits (you can use the ashes of war without mana and it works). I count to around 30 hits, when the last bleed procs, mount up and hit the last attacks with normal R1 attacks and as soon as the tail flinches, I speed up to the grace and sit down. Full runes and the dragon is still alive.
@@lkyonion9412You definitely can(just did) just expect longer swings and or more bleed damage. Once you get a small sliver of health left just get on Torrent and take your time with your swings so your stamina isn't empty when you need to run
For the first method I use raptors Mist on a katana however be mindful that the ball mechanic will push you certain distance so do not stand too close to the edge or you will fall with the ball
I followed the dragon tutorial using “scavengers curved sword” which has a blood loss buildup effect of 45, worked for me and got 67000 runes for like 5 minutes. Very cool guide thank you
NOTE to anyone who says bleed is not procing- you MUST meet the flail's requirements FIRST before you use the flail in order to proc bleeding. Just tested this myself, it is NOT patched.
quick advice if you want to see the dragon glitch: before going there i recommend you to kill the dragon in limgrave's swamp and buff you archane and faith to buy the rotten breath incantation so you don't have to go running towards the grace
can confirm, still works today. i chickened out 2 times b4 realizing what the actual tail motion was and after that its pretty easy even if you mess up the timing a little bit.
Yes bro it does I’m doing it now I had the same exact problem. Try it again, but give it one extra swing, when you do the tail will flinch for the second time and that’s when you run back. I kept running after the first flinch until I tried again.
I just got Elden Ring, figured I would buy it for myself for my birthday, and I'm glad I ran into this video before I got too far. I been running through the first area just stealth killing all the guards thinking it was going to take forever to farm a bit to level up.
OR do VARRE’s quest and head to the mohgwyn palace and do the classic albanauric rune farming spot, it’s still around 50-60k runes per reset on a new game and takes a total of 10 seconds with certain weapons
Guys I searched about that , it appears to me that glitch happen only at this grace Like you have to farm the drak the go fast for the grace before it disappear And if it disappear no way to come back again
You can disable messages if you find them annoying. Sometimes people like to place them on levers and spots purposely to make you mald. Go to settings and toggle online to offline.
The golden scarab+ gold pickled fowl foot actually nets you more than a 50% increase. If youre wearing the scarab you get the 20% than by popping the fowl foot ontop of that its a 30% boost on top of the already boosted rune amount so it works out to 78K were a base +50% is 75%
I tried this glitch with the dragon and i had all my armor off so id be lightweight and as soon as the dragon twitched i ran on my horse and got thr the rest place as soon as possible it still fully killed the dragon
Definitely a great video. Only problem is after about level 60 this is not worth it as its getting to that point you have to kill it twice per level. Bit definitely great till you can progress a little bit further to get the best rune farming spot before the dlc.
Unfortunately the best rune farm you need to complete the game yeah the bird/albtraunic is better and faster regardless it only reaches its max potential after killing the Elden beast and getting the sword 😢
@@ytexeves actually no you dont. Just get to beating Radahn and get the weapon from his soul and upgrade it as much as possible then use that two handed. Its not as fast but still works great.
@@ytexeves only bird is enough and also you can use other weapons with a larger radius, although it is not as fast, but it is better than killing the dragon
Yeah dude from lvl50+ it's not early game anymore. it's mid game+. It's probably better that there aren't any farms that carry your bloody ass from lvl 1 to 100 easily.

Test today, it still works ((July 21 2014) - 11:07 "fake flinch" and 11:09 "real flinch" (its tail flinch toward you). You guys should be on horse before this time. When "real flinch" 11:09 happens, immediately sprint back to nearby grace. If you do it in time, you will hear the sound "rune gain" before you rest. Afterward, you gain about 50k rune + no dragon heart + dragon still alive. If not, it means you do not make it in time.
I use the dragon farm with a combination of Night Maidens Mist and any weopon that procs bleed. Just get the dragons hp down enough to finish with NMM. Best part: you dont have to be near when you cast the spell. Usually takes me 3 casts and on the 3rd, i run back to the site of grace until i see the tail switch, then rest and repeat

Nice work, good to see we still have some solo options after the dlc update. For anyone with an online friend, look up the save duplication glitch, still works and always will. If you duplicate numens or hero runes, you'll have millions in no time
Been doing the dragon rune farm for a while now. Wasn’t low-level and sold the mace when I first got it since I couldn’t use it and was trying to upgrade for the Bloodhound’s Fang. Thought I fucked up the first time because of the damage my upgraded Bloodhound’s Fang does made me think I was able to hit the dragon a little more before having to jump on Torrent. Luckily, I hopped on and rested in time.
I can't believe this actually works. Thank you for the video. It does become little bit stale and boring but I get 85k per run with everything applied together. Btw I don't think you need exactly 18 dex because I have lower than that, as long as he bleeds out and flinch it works either way for me. Finally I can stop looking for Night Cavalry bosses to fight for 40k each. 10/10 video

This still works July 6th 2024 I messed up once and ended up resetting its health 😅 But the moment you see the final blood loss BOOK IT So tbh I just kept hitting it once to maximize stamina use before it died. Then I saw the final loss and ran for my life. Still works.
This actually works and is 100x more faster than the boulder farm. Very scary at first, but the more you do it, the more easier it gets and more chill it feels to do it.

Liked and subscribed, exactly the video I wanted/needed. I've been playing the DLC in NG+ with my OP original char at level 177 and it just feels overly familiar and cheap. The quality of invasions is really lame at that level aswell, so I've decided to rerun with a new char with a completely different build. Hopefully your guide should expedite that process, and I'll be tormenting tarnished hosts in a brand new way in no time ❤
Hate to say your lvl 177 isnt strong enough to one shot any boss in elden ring much less the dlc so get that ass to max lvl of 713 all your stats will be 99 an you will one shot if not two shot all bosses including the dlc ones
