A close second was when chase was about to do the thing, then the guy did the other thing making chase rethink his thing. But ofc chase recovered and thingd all over those dudes.
@@6Angel67 eeeeeh I was pretty sick of the neverending reactive ss blessed ceastus setup, and that status builds were utter garbage. And poise not existing was just a net bad for the heavier weapons, which is why reactive SS got so ridiculously overused. While Elden Ring is an unbalanced mess, I do like that far more is viable in it.

Noo I hate them tbh. It'd be so much more entertaining to see an actual fight on the branches! Plus, it reminds me of all the times I've been robbed of a fight by some person I never saw with those godforsaken knockback arrows.
@@jakemaxwell3810 It's too easy to fall off. Some one knocks you down and they can knock you off the tree all together. Or you can move too far with certain skills and regular attacks, especially with the dlc weapons.
@Chaos40096 that's exactly why I hate the greatbow. It would be better if you could buy the golem arrows at least, but having to farm for them just gives a huge advantage to whoever preps more. There have just been many times I have invaded various parts of the Haligtree and never even seen the enemy, which is a grand waste of time. I think some people use taunters tongues and farm invaders there.
@@jakemaxwell3810 Yeah, the beginning of the haligtree isn't ideal to invade. If you get an invasion there it's just bad luck I guess. People will be people. And I get what you mean about farming the golem arrows. I tried to farm some but I've only gotten a few.
@@Gio-xh3sk if you watch his streams, (though i highly doubt judging by your statement) he rarely loses in his invasions.. the most lost he had was 3 in a 4 hour stream is crazy.
Your understanding of the online system in tandem with your combat knowledge and spacing elevates these videos to the next level. I’m waiting for the day someone can take you on one on one. It seems like everyone is starting to take to your style, been seeing lots of poisier bois in pvp who now run a variety of builds. Not just the same old moonveil or blood spam. And right before the dlc too. Holy crow it’s awesome to be a souls fan rn. They honestly could do as they pls and I’d be interested regardless as long as they maintain their integrity
Someone else might know which showcase video it was but if you want to see Chase lose 1v1 there’s a player cosplaying Link who managed to get over him during one. He showed up in quite a few videos and it was a whole saga. Definitely worth the watch if you have the time. Maybe Chase remembers which weapon it was?

So many memorable invasions thus time: the catacomb with the falling blades, the double bullgoat snipe, the ball getting the final word, the fabled torch making an appearence... beautiful. Say Chase, I've seen you play with pretty much anything, so I was wondering: is there a specific weapon or class of weapons that you dislike using? Outside of balancing issues?
Have you ever considered doing challenge invasions? Like creating some sort of achievement list and you try to get all of them in a playthrough dedicated to that. It could be things like "win an invasion without having talismans equipped" or "win an invasion by killing every opponent with a different weapon". I'm sure the comments section can come up with hundreds of challenges that could be fun to do and I'm even more sure that it will be very entertaining to see!
Petition to have all players hold the torch ready to attack invaders! Chase applies pressure in his way. We must rise up and pressure in another. MAY NO INVASION BE FREE OF THE TORCH!
Ah, now is the time of the classic 'invasion highlight' format. Makes sense since we're familiar with every possible build that can be made in this game with every possible weapon, tool, buff, spell, or other implement without excluding any at all for sure definitely really.
this is more of a 7 enemy environment, because not only the battleground is actively taking kills, the lag is terrifying enough to count as a challenger
By the Gods! Chaotic is not enough to define the first fight. I would be getting my pants soiled. Those falling blades are terrifying and unforgiving. 16:40 I was still recovering from the first fight, and that almost gave me a panic attack. 😂
Chase you should go for a lorretta’s greatbow kill where the you charge it right after one of the giant blades fall so it just lifts you up while charging and it tracks them

Have been loving the videos, just a quick question could you or would you ever do a video on how you are so efficient of how many items you have? Because I assume you have multiple characters considering you like to float around level 150-200 and so limited in larval tears that you would be able to respec a character only so many times. So I’m just curious on how you always have 99 items like the boluses for example.
I've really enjoyed watching the elden pvp videos recently and decided to try it myself (have never played pvp in souls before). However I am not quite sure when to stop leveling up. As far as I understand, there is a meta level, but what is it? Some of Chase's vids are at 125, some are at 150 and then there are weird numbers like 139 or 166 (i guess it has something to do with brackets) or even 200. I am at level 100 ish now at my new character and i'd like to know when do i stop leveling so that i don't miss all the fun and stay in long queues.
I would say if you’re trying to create a Pvp character to stop at level 125. After you have one created back up your saved file to the PSN cloud or create a back up on PC if that is your platform. this way you can try out new builds by reallocating with the larval tears and when you run out you can just re-download your save and you will have them back. You can also try out a variety of levels, but the most popular ones are between level 125 to 150. 200 is also a pretty active bracket but I find it a little bit slower than the others.
How do you change between weapons and armor so effectively? I’ve tried my hand at it on the ps5 controller and it’s like I gotta break my hand to be able to keep moving and look through my stuff 😂
Chase, have you ever considered doing a Black Flame build? I get its more of a PvE tool, I'm just curious since I am more of a high SL player and don't see a ton of PvP combat anymore outside of arenas, thus haven't had much of a chance myself to try it out.
Depend on the player, and adversary, everything is counterable, a build that can adapt a lot and negate flaws are usually the best build, there is some meta/min maxing build & weapons be aware of that, lastly knowing the differents pvp tech, a guys like Chase that mastered them can easily beat everybody whatever he’s using, but now you match him against the top 10 pvper, he will need a « dedicated » « meta » build to beat them imo

He’s got a dex stream from about a year ago where he died 3 times in one stream, and plenty of others where he never died for hours and hours, it’s insane
