The point down emote after every backstab, the estus chug after every hit, running away and leading his invaders on a wild goose chase, the poor grammar and bad spelling of his hate mail. The guy was an S-tier troll.
@@plantman1093 He appears so often, almost once per video, as Chase’s opponent, and not even intentional, he’s become something of a reoccuring character.
I don't know why they only gave the thrust heavy to the Claymore. Greatswords would be so much more fun if they had more moveset variety, Knight's Sword would be one of my favorite weapons if it just had the thrust R2!
Link was like, "i cant wait to tell my therapist im feeling much better, i havent seen my paralysis demon Chase in a long ti-.......... *FETAL POSITION*
i just realize that the helphen (alongside blackflame stuff) pairs so well with the banished knight set. The black & white aesthetic is just so pleasing to look at.
at 1:30 it is important to remember that BG talisman works by reducing poise damage taken by 25% which means it increases the effectiveness of both passive poise AND hyper armor
@@cainhurst7546 25% reduction results in a 33% boost in effectiveness ex. 133 poise damage reduced by 25% is a little under 100, so bullgoats can tank it in the same way as a 33% boost
Agreed, Death’s Poker is my favorite weapon in the game. On my second play through and now that I realize there’s nice little bunch of ghostflame weapons makes me want to do ghostflame weapons
Hey chase I love ur vids man. I’ve been having a rough week and whenever I start to feel overwhelmed I’ve been watching ur videos. I love your calm positive attitude, it’s really inspiring. Thankyou
Awesome that this weapon got some love. The Onyx greatsword was one of my favorite weapons in DS3 so it was nice to see an homage to it. You should try using the AoW as an attack mix-up too, it has hit detection and does damage. Haven't seen if there are any combos like in DS3 though. Gotta say I still like the MLGS better, wish Helphen's had more range and a thrust R2 like the Claymore, and like the Onyx GS did in DS3. It was a lot more versatile that way.
@@en20drayt87 Yeah I just didn't like how it scaled mainly with int AND faith bc you had to double invest to really get that high AR, and your only ideal option was a Pyro build with it. Plus, split damage 2 ways is already less ideal, 3 ways is arguably worse. High AR but wouldn't do as much as you'd think through all 3 diff absorptions. At least they gave it a unique effect this time with frostbite and a bit more versatile. Sad that they removed Dark element from Elden Ring though. Kinda combined into magic, which I guess makes sense in a way but still. Not as unique.
Clearly a piece of what I enjoy watching. Not the flavour of the month or rather the last patch or clearly broken builds. You pick a weapon and you make it work whatever the odds. Always fun to watch. Cheers.
Dammnit. This is the 3rd time I say 'I would love Ringed Finger but Rot Sword, Reduvia, or Helphins would be cool.' I literally said Helphins 12 hours ago. Pleeeeease chase. I know I am good at suggestions and Ringed Finger is a weird weapon that even at rl 254 with 72 str is 691 dmg...but the weapon art is insane if you know how to use it. Dude ..been following you for years.. please man!
I wish they'd change it so wielding 2 weapon buff ashes at the same time would trigger them both at the same time. Preferable while doing the Pontiff Sullivan cut animation from DS3
I've seen your kind, time and time again. Every fleeing man must be caught. Every secret must be unearthed. Such is the conceit of the self-proclaimed seeker of truth. But in the end, you lack the stomach, for the agony that you'll bring upon yourself.
10:59 - that's the funny thing about double greatswords, halberds, or a moonveil setup. Epic rollcatchers like the Stitcher might be able to nail someone who's trying to build distance, but often don't outdamage the chug even when they blatantly do it right in front of you. A pair of large weapons, on the other hand, trap people who are used to speed chugging.
Two handing it with 55 STR and 50 INT, I saw there was a minimal AR difference between it and the Royal Great sword that Blaid uses when buffed with the ghost flame
Hey y'all, dunno if most people have tried it yet but to my knowledge storm stomp now true combos into colossal r1s, just a little tip for the increased speed they got recently.
I'll definitely have to try that weapon for myself, it looks amazing and the AoW is the same animation as my favorite weapon from DS3: The Onyx Blade. Btw, is link another youtuber for elden ring? I see him a lot in your videos, definitely a skilled player.
Alright...don't wanna do Ringed Finger..how about classics like Sword of Kamamamamma and fire or Maliketh's blade. Or maybe that super poison snake hand weapon...can't think of the name but it is good.
Hilariously short video since everyone died so damn fast with this brutality! Gonna pick this one up as well on my quest to become at least decent with greatswords, you're a big inspiration chase! My vote is for the giant crusher! Always fun to see what you can pull off with the real slow and difficult weapons
Wait i always duel at the same range(time and runelevel) as the one true king player yet i never get summon by chase the bro. Must be pretty unlucky for me ;))
Hey I'm trying to do a lighting build I'm new to elden ring and it's not like the dark souls I'm used to of there is so much to this game do you have any tips on what I should use or tips for a pvp build
duels dont show shit for how good a weapon is. I want to see how it works in invasions. true combos are the best thing in the game atm for duels. So zzz whatever else
I wonder if the deaths ritual spear is any good now? That got a buff to its AR and AoW is quicker with a larger AOE. In your previous showcase you found it hard to hit with the AoW, maybe it’s more effective now? I haven’t tried it personally.
I’m surprised this weapon is so underused. With the L2 buff, physick and golden vow I get almost 1200 AR plus it has frostbite that procs in 2-3 hits. You can also add flame grant me strength to that but I usually don’t to save FP usage.
You have NO idea how stoked I was to come back to the game after not playing for about 4 months, to find my underwhelming Death Knight Helphens Steeple build is an absolute fucking monster now lol, night and day difference since 1.03.
he saves the game using an outside source, like a pendrive or something. then he can reload the save as many times as he wants to respec into other weapons
Chase, please show us some ugs fun after the poke nerf, and attack speed buff. Some nice “Gutsu” cosplay with consumables mixups could be amazing on your level of performance
I'm still on my first playthrough, after months of fine tuning my build, I finally made it to be 60 str/ 40 int. Funny enough I recently got this weapon too, I might dual wield it with a buffed scholar's armament heavy claymore and use the magic cracked tear. I was also considering using the magic scorpion charm, but 18-20 ish damage absorption is rough.
If you buff the one in your right hand it nullifies the claw talisman you can buff the off hand one but if you buy the right you only do damage for one of the swords and not both...weird bug but I've tried it all ways ...btw this is only if you're two handing one hand works just fine
