It's incredible how much meaningful side content this game has, none of them feel recycled and each new area has a different approach to encounters and activities
You do not need to go that full dangerous rooftop route, you can work your way across the roofs and drop down safely above the guys with the ballistas rather than go through the Knights and stuff. You don't even need to fight the guys on the roof before scaling the buildings as you can just jump over and they won't follow. This saves so much time, health and flasks for when you need them. You should really make a follow up to this video showing the proper route for that
You don’t have to do any of that. The courtyard with a ton of soldiers and 1 troll, go there. Find outdoor stairs that lead down to the archway with 3 guards back turned. Straight through and entrance is on the left. Watch the lion in the bushes.
Or maybe stop being a panzy and fight the enemies like the game intended, why everybody say the best way to avoid fights, thats literally the gameplay u were intended to play... git gud. U can rachargw flasks wen u get to a site of grace u noob
If you’ve got the speed you don’t need the long path or stonesword key. Get the npc to open the gate and sprint right, there’s a grace almost immediately
@@ungabungacaveman9021 you equip it and it does almost nothing until you use rune arcs, this goes for all of them, think of this as being embered or reversing hollowing.
The easiest way is if you exit from Rampart Tower grace, head out, to the right, run-jump to the roof across and below, and then jump on to the small stone ledge to your forward left. Hug that ledge and keep going until you finally drop to the area around 1:51 in the video
It does nothing until you use a rune arc its a new death mechanic if you die you have to use another arc to get the bonus its like hollowing or effigys but for bonus stats
to anyone who is confused why they didn’t show the path the stone sword key area, it’s right next to where you go when you jump down from rampart tower, it’s right on the ground from the last jump
@@FijianSouljah1312 Lets be honest, a lot of them are garbage. They could at least have a little more health. If you don't go in underleveled you are flooring most side bosses in this game. Bloodborne dungeons bosses could take a hit.
Starts at some random location, then go to the ballistas, and keep moving forward, once you're at the tower rest at a grace and you can activate the great rune

A little note for anyone that wasted there time with the second path. If you just let the dude at the start open the front gate, you can just fuckin run to where he is rn. You don't *have* to fight if you just dodge the arrows. All this path he showed was just to shut the arrows down, nothing else.
It's complicated. It's in the tower on the east of Liurnia : "Carian Study Hall", however, to be able to active the rune, you need to find the Carian Inverted Statue to drop on the pedestal in the entrance, to get that item, you need to give Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade, which is ...in Nokron, so much later into the game.
Looked up this guide but then continued playing, brute forced my way to the main gate from the grace next to godrick fight, killed the dog and found it myself!
When you get to the ballistas if you go to the front gate of the castle on the right there is a grace so then you don’t have to do this horrible run again.
Someon oughta pin this, just go to Ramparts, down small lift in the corner, through room with 7 armed monster you killed and the huge painting of Godrick, make left to enter the courtyard with all the soldiers and big bows aimed at the door and 1 troll. From there look for the outside narrowish stairs that lead down to an archway and out the gate. Get past the lion and the entrance is on the left. Can’t miss it.
Confused as to why for option 1 you said to start the the Rampart Tower grace site and not the Stormveil Gate grace which just requires you to run around the corner to the Limgrave Tower Bridge. It’s a super short route and also doesn’t require a stonesword key
False and misleading (as expected of IGN). Equipping great runes DO NOT yield any effects UNLESS you use a rune arc. Rune arcs do not make great rune effects 'more potent', these are required if you want any kind of equipped great rune to take effect at all.
Just go to stormveil main gate. Talk to the weird possessed dude. Tell him to open the gate. On the left up some stairs there is a grace sight. After that dodge the ballistas and don’t even try to kill enemy’s. Once at top of the hill take right go straight through the tiger. Rest at grace. Run past giant fire dudes. Use the thing to get across bridge and boom. Took me 1 minute to do it. Don’t use the video. He shows a 5 minute path for no reason
This didn't help one bit. You gave two different ways and didn't show anything for the first one. You tell us to start at the Rampart Tower but then show yourself down on the ground. Thanks but I'll find another video.
