@ashenwalker4622 exactly. Ive been at it for a while but I can tell I am doing much better. I can very consistently get to Phase 2 now... I'm also parrying him so I decided (for God knows what reason) to parry this fight
I got inspired by let me solo her and i made a character called let me heal you, the only thing i do in the boss fight is heal anyone who gets damage so they dont die, by far i helped like 4 people to beat radahn
I can’t lie when I first got to messmer I summoned people and died pretty quick so I quit summoning and ended up beating him. I felt bad for the people coming to help. 😂
I feel you, I also never summon people because it's just so embarrassing when you die especially when the boss is low and you feel like you just wasted everyone's time 😂
What confuses me. How hardly any of the players you help, dont realise the meteor attack. You have to beat Rahdan before you access the dlc. How can they not remember that attack
I wish I played the game on pc so I could summon you and watch you destroy these bosses ❤ I learned a lot from you just from your streams and videos I managed to beat consort radahn i’m now on NG+ :3
I didn't know that the 2 summons on the entrance gave Radahn more health and I had to beat him at about 140k HP. It was like hitting a wall for 15 minutes.
I've tried to help people by soloing Consort using the deflecting hardtear and a frost flamberge, but the guy just has too much HP with even one summon, I always run out of the physick before I get the kill. Flamberge is probably not an ideal weapon but it was the moveset i was used to, and I doubt it'd make a huge difference. Any tips to overcome the HP surplus to keep the time-to-kill within 5 minutes? (other idea I had was just relying on dodges for the first phase while the status requirements are lower and popping the physick at the start of phase 2, but it's been hard to reach that point)
Scarlet Rot. He is, somewhat unsurprisingly, quite vulnerable to Scarlet Rot. A single Scarlet Aoenia (if Faith) or a few Rot Pots will trigger the effect (might need a bit more with summons) and it will deal a monstrous amount of damage over its duration. Off course this may not be viable due to crafting consumables, but it was what tipped the scales for me.
This isn't a brag, but just a comment on the time to beat him. With the anvil hammer at 18 scadu blessing, he died in 2 mins 30 and there was plenty of time left in the deflecting hardtear. I'd imagine with a build proccing bleed or rot you could do it significantly faster.
I gladly help out with every boss in the game EXCEPT for Radahn. He's just too damn tanky, even when I fought him solo I did nearly no damage, with two other summons it feels like three mosquitoes trying to sting an elephant to death.
I Saw some fights lives against radahn, and your performance was just breath taking. Every people who hates on supposed overdosed difficulty on this beautifull dlc must see your work ahah
26:30 This guy won't see it coming. I'm out, this guy keeps dodging. How about that one in the corner right over there. Edit: 33:56 Too comical to not timestamp, the next round after this fight is also funny because it is the same guy (same name). 39:36 Include the first win too in the video
i find it funny, i watched him fight bayle and he looked like a noob to me, then he comes back, doesnt talk and 1tabs radahn without beeing hit... hmm?
There's 'Great katanas' in the dlc, but he's not using them because I guess what he cares about is the status effects. That rapier is from the base game and is one of the few weapons that have innate scarlet rot buildup. He then throws blood onto one and cold onto a copy for max status effects. Radahn forces players into trying different fighting styles, I don't blame LMSH for picking up a different strategy here
