The "didn't expect weak foe" thing is why I never upvoted those messages, and instead dropped a "well done" after every boss. You never know who's struggling with what in these games, and it's precisely the people who are just getting by who need the encouragement.
People leaving it with "pathetic sort ahead" in front of the mimic tear fight are funny tho. Gotta appraise them when most of the trolling attempts are "but hole" or "rump"

I found mel-chan to be rather fun, she only killed me a few times and I liked her style. Seems all the best fights are against humanoid bosses instead of swinging at the ankles and smelling the balls of a small house.
What is with all the bloodstains in front of the corpse at the beginning? I'm kinda assuming it's like that 1 particular cliff up north that has messages like "do it" and "offer life" where there's blood everywhere
I always thought maybe there was some later game boss (because I heard before that you can come revenge against the tutorial boss) that pops up in that area, and the room was so small that I could see people dying all the time. I never thought past that, but now thinking, W t f is everyone doing???

As a mage, I feel for y'all faith ppl. I was playing faith/int initially but switched to full mage when I noticed incantations had nothing on the repertoire of spells I'd already collected. Also, we got gavel of haima, carian slicer, carian piercer and carian greatsword, so why can't y'all get some equivalents?

Malenia was hard (no shot, she’s f-cking Malenia), but I beat her in only 82 attempts WITH mimic tear + a cheesy stagger and bleed build, but hey, I only got her down to two hits like three times before I killed her so yayyyyyy 😭 Edit: just without mimic, my attempts would probably double. Mimic tear really saves your life if you get him setup right. I had my mimic run the stagger build I was talking about (well not stagger, it was using the Blasphemous Blade’s ash to make her fall down) and I used Reduvia for bleed procs. I started that on attempt 79, and beat her three later. Moral of the story, bleed make big number go brrrr

16:47 This one is so bad. Dogs in every game suck. But some even worse than Elden Ring. Ever heard of Resident Evil or Silent Hill (while I dont recall there actually BEING any dog enemies in the game, they always made me TERRIFIED thinking "Okay wheres the dogs gonna pop out? Wheres the dogs gonna pop out?" Then something else gets the drop on me. Video game dogs are so bad they beat me in games they arent even in.
