I beat the DLC with a FTH build with Flame both Danes weapons + Braggarts Roar WA. gave me total freedom to use Holy, Lightning or Fire dmg with a nice playstyle now Im using a basic DEX-ARC Bleed build. my main weapons are Keen Backhand Blade + Bloodflame Blade and Im also testing Blood Blacksteel Twinblades with Endure WA and the Gaius Sword Lance on Blood with Blood Tax WA. not broken like popping tens of thousands in bleed, but fun to destroy everything. Im using this more to sup player in coop without stealing hosts shine nor doing everything for them
This is how you do builds in ER! Tons of character, weapon diversity and strategic weapon / spell swaps add so much to the gameplay. Well done, thank you.
Thank you so much for the tips on the Greatsword of Solitude build! I have been going mad all day on how I can optimise it properly and thanks to this, I finally got it complete!
Personally went through the game with a regen berserker build. I used two smithscript axes with braggart roar (Because you can have braggart roar on both weapons), I also used golden vow, protection of the erd tree, and Erdtree's blessing, with blessed dew talisman, and Godskin Talisman. I would occasionally opt out my two other talisman, based off what felt good, but usually it with the greatshield talisman, pearl drake, or blue-feathered branchsword/ritual shield talisman. Gave me tons of damage reduction, alongside hitting like 2k~ per hit. (Mind you this was a late game build, and I used it on new game +.)
On the pyro build I'd probably change the last talisman for a Talisman of the Dread, it increases damage done by magma which is pretty useful with the magma dance
If any of you have not tried out any of the dry leaf arts weapons they are a blast and deal insane status buildup and stance damage Highly recommend it
Hey! For the Great Lizard Greatsword add into your build the mushroom crown, and in your off hand the Poisoned Hand. You'll have a +10% +7.5% on top of Kindred of Rot buff every tipe you aply poison ;)
The lightning caster build might be better with high faith and 2x Gravel Stone Seals with the mace switch in RH. The weapon art will do less damage but once you debuff the target you'll be able to get an extra 15% dragon cult incant damage. Boost it further with the priestess heart transformation/buff for another 20% damage on dragon cult incantations. Tl;dr less WA damage but considerably more incant damage.
I did something similar to the insane samurai however i used the deflecting crystal tear so i could parry like sekiro but im liking the addition of the martial arts thanks ❤❤❤
wait so how you do it? im making sekiro build now. What are you using to parry? Parry dagger or shield in left hand, with great katana in main hand? plus martial arts on the side?
I explored the dlc and burned the sealing tree locking me out of basically all quests. Will i miss any critical loot pieces for these builds? Or do i just have to go ng +1?

Missed out on boosting the kicking, by not wearing the bird warrior legs, and changing another piece of gear for raksasa to get all that big kicky kicks
People have to understand the sword of knight if a super light Katana you have to play into charge attack and full charged aow for big damage and stun on big bosses . If the boss is humanoid they literally get clapped by it Melania gets stun locked for me , all the new mausoleum bosses in the dlc , it legitimately decimates invaders real or npc idk I think people just wanted another Moonveil/RoB situation this takes some setup to get those results
Great video. Always love the humor! Also some new ideas I haven't seen elsewhere. The Flowerstone AoW debuff is a cool insight. Definitely want to use the new lightning spell. One of my favourite builds of all time I want to revive is a 'Deathstorm Knight'. INT/FAI build that buffs lightning dmg with frostbite procs from spells and/or weapons, and rancor spells for flavour. Might have to work in Flowerstone for the extra debuff.
For anyone potentially interested in such a build: 50-80 INT/FAITH. Can use classic darkmoon greatsword for frostbite/poise break, jellyfish shield to boost all dmg, or use the relevant dmg boosting catalysts alongside golden order seal casting. Or, a Lance has B int scaling with cold affinity, for a cool RP frosty lightning rod weapon. The new Fire knights greatsword also has B int scaling on cold. Or you can use all spells, moonblade, new spectral rings, new knights lightning spear etc.
if you work in the Flowerstone you are now adding ARC to the build also 💀💀 lmaoo thats why that weapon is pain in the butt. ARC scaling while Lighting Spells you want FAITH. but yeah Deathstorm Knight sounds sick. Maybe a Cold Paladin? or Pyro? idk but we have these new infusible elemental weapons, like Blacksteel Hammer and Twinblade, or Fire Knights GS, which scales faith/deals fire or holy dmg, but u can throw Cold Affinity on it. so can proc frost, while dealing an elemental dmg and scaling with Faith. Maybe a Cold Blacksteel Hammer, with high FAITH, so proccing frost. but can cast high level faith spells like Lightning or Holy
First time I see your content, but deff loved this video. I will prob only use 2 of these builds but Im so tired of the MOST OP GAME BREAKING WEAPON HAVE TO TRY THIS NOW videos. I’ve been looking for builds to just enjoy a my next play through and this video did just that
I want to make a build work around Multilayered Ring of Light. That spell is so insanely fun. But you kinda need a tank spirit/friend with it like a maxed out Taylew. Which is also broken as hell. OR a Divine Bird Feathers machinegun build. 😂
So happy your making builds for the dlc man i found you bout 6 months ago and ngl your the reason ive made SEVERAL lev 200 accounts to be able to try out all the different builds (not enough larval tears to enjoy all this goodness) lol and THANK YOU for giving a mention to the lizards great sword! Freakin i know not all enemy weapons/incatations are exactly the same as when put in our hands but the second i saw this weapon i knew it could have some fun uses! (Sorry for the lenghty comment but fr i like your videos!)
Hello I wanted to ask you about the last build. I am lvl 103 with 38 endurance just like you but I have 88 equip load compared to yours 104. Is there something I'm missing? I have the great jar amulet equipped. I have 76.1 weight while you have 67.3 with the same setup and I unequipped every talisman but the jar just to be sure.
Those legs wouldve desecrated the "dark samurai" drip that build had!! 🤣🤣 but yeah next kick build i do, its gnna be goddam divine bird superhero for sure.

You think the lizard poison thing is better than using poison hand aow and then 2 handing blood venemous fangs with poison flowers bloom twice? Cuz I been racking up 10-20k dmg easy with that. Procs poison, bleed & scarlet rot when done correctly
Deflect tear improves the guarding alone. Look at your stamina bar with vs without that tear. Your spontaneous guards cost less stamina during those guards. For guard counter, that's the curved sword talisman.
Nah dude, deflect tear boosts dmg of guard counters as well ''Successfully executing a spontaneous guard will also strengthen guard counters'' ive tested and confirmed this with many weapons...just not backhand blades atm💀
For the first build: Equiping the Fire Knight Armor would also increase the damage from Mesmers spear or does it not count as a fire knight art? Great video man.
I think that armor set only increases dmg on Messmer Incantations? The Serpent helm buffs the Spears Weapon Art I'm pretty sure lol I do cast Messmer Spells tho so u can wear Fire Knight Armor. I simply didn't want to be like everybody else, I gotta be unique in this channel💯

Im currently loving the venomous fang even more than i did. Blood affinity with poison flower blooms twice. Did you know that this aow can proc scarlet rot if used 3-4 times?
Does dragon nuke build work better with dragon priest heart or the other dragon model armor one? Because they does boost dragon incantation by quite an amount if I remember correctly.
I’ve been using the black flame monk armor with black flame arms and black knight boots. But I change for max damage for bosses. I’m also using dual great katana because I wanna have fun

Nice video, always make me laugh Greatsword of Solitude is lowkey one of the best in dlc, it doesn't let them get up or hit you if you spam the skill but its great with a sheild too.
my current favorite is a faith build using leda's sword and alot of the ring/disc incantations with a handful of stuff like messmer flame incants and black blade i don't even have to swing my sword half the time lol. discus of light and multilayered ring of light have disgusting range
The Magma Blade scales best with STR, then with FTH - it doesn't has a good scaling with DEX There are some really nice ideas here though - some I will try for myself for sure
Well STR scales it's phys dmg, while FAITH scales it's Fire dmg (and weapon art) on this build, you'll primarily be using it's Magma Throw weapon skill. So its viable with purely Pyro Faith But Yea should not have said "both DEX/FTH weapons"
Yea but it's suppose to boost dmg on guard counters as well. Some cumulative effect, reflect 1x 20% 2x for 40% 3x for 80% Something like that....it works for every weapon, EXCEPT Backhand Blades lol. Gotta be a bug
