@@Dante_themaninthemirror I actually tried it and I think the patch does make the weapon more viable, but not much. The most significant change is the poise damage when the WA lands in a melee range. The range of projectile is longer but the damage is still pretty low. Anyway I like Gargoyle’s Black Blade and I think you should try it out. It looks cool and ranged WA helps a lot when exploring.
if you're not completely burnt out it'd be cool to see a stormhawk axe run after the 1.07/8 buffs to it. I wanna see if you can stagger EB with the AOW right at the start of the fight.
@@LANBobYonson I’ve been swamped with work lately but I’ll be back soon 🙏 Stormhawk axe is buffed in recent patch but I dont think its poise damage is good enough to do so. So far as I know, only the Flame of the Redmane can stagger EB that fast but it was nerfed in 1.08. Nonetheless, I think it is an excellent weapon against EB because of its insane AoW damage and the lightning buff in the boss room.
This is my favourite weapon. Always makes me laugh when people say "holy weapons are trash" yet you have weapons like this that do insane damage regardless even on bosses with high resistances. This and marikas hammer hands down my favs
Please i really wanna see veteran's prosthesis cuz no one ever talks about it and i think its just so cool to use an old dude's peg leg as a weapon and the weapon art is also sick
Siluria's Woe is like one of the best AoW in the game I swea got some question, is Siluria viable on first playthrough without a huge stats? and should I 50/50 str/fth? or max str like Ordovis is fine?
I used Golden Vow, Bloodboil Aromatic and Pickled Turtle Neck. But I recommend Flame Grant me Strength over Bloodboil Aromatic for a higher damage negation, unless you are doing a no hit run.
This is a max level save but you don’t need that high. Siluria’s Tree is a decent STR/FAITH build weapon, scales mainly STR. It requires 27 STR and 20 FAITH to wield so you can invest on these stats after you had enough VIGOR. Hope that helps.
Coded sword and Cipher Pata scale only with faith and do pure holy damage. If you have invested on STR and DEX, I would recommend Envoy’s Longhorn, Sacred Relic Sword and Magma Blade. These are top tier PVE weapons that have faith scaling and I found them really useful in my playthroughs.
