@@droopyderp5962 eternal sleep only works on enemies that fully fall asleep when it procs, and it prevents them from waking up to your attacks Outside of that it works basically the same (in pve it lasts longer and in pvp it drains more fp)
@@Crap_A.I_birdyea it’s pretty much the same as regular sleep. The only difference I’ve seen with ES is that you’re fully locked in for the 3 seconds even when hit
My favourite part of Thiollier's hidden needle is that it gets skill priority in the offhand like shields. This, paired with its almost invisible model means you can keep it as a hidden weapon without needing to switch and you can pull the skill out of nowhere.
tbh it's nice to know that even highly experienced players will still blunder into holes and fall to their deaths. makes me feel a little bit better about my own in-game idiocy

@@bobthestinky7369 i saw him die in a duel at the raya lucaria gate in one of the showcase videos. a player named link or something like that went through a whole training arc and finally got him.
The shift in mentality for many of these players getting invaded is always interesting. They tend to be hyper aggressive with little to no strategy when in groups of 2-3, but some nearly give up when alone.
In that case you just need to focus on baiting them all at once with an AoE, bit its a problem when 2 are rushing you and theres some mage spamming from afar
I remember when Chase did a Broken Straight Sword build for his weapon showcase in DS3, still slaughtered during invasions... probably still has the vod up. He is a monster at this lol. Next time he does a livestream (which can be rare) I recommend catching it. His experience doing invasions from DS1 till now has granted him essentially an instinctual understanding of the game mechanics ER is based upon. It's insane to watch live.
I really like the extra clips of showing the testing you’re mentioning, like how the ash combos. I think it’s great for visualizing how things work, which is super important in high stress invasions! Thanks Chase, great videos as always!
I LOVE how you've been showing off the combos and techniques against duelists while telling us about the build. Really helps us know what you're looking for in your invasions, especially when it's something like a roll catch.

I like how the DLC expanded on the existing infusions by adding stuff like deadly poison, burnier fire, sleepier sleep, and even going the extra mile by giving them colory colours, miyazaki you genius.
He also died to the legendary duelist Link once. Also, in one of his earlier weapon showcase videos, a guy with Highlander Axe got him. He still has a crazy winrate like %99 tho.
@@EldenBongwell lifesteal fist is usually paired with a magic buff so you can sleep them and the buff with drawstring royal magic grease and it'll be very high damaging

ngl i’ve started trying pvp more since watching this channel and i’ve been getting my butt handed to me in these invasion ganks. Gonna keep trynna get better though, and watching these vids shows me nice tactics for pvp. You’re too cracked bro 🔥

Used this one in pvp as soon as i found it and found out it had the cipher pata moveset, really fun to learn the spacing on. Reccomend using with sleep pots. :)

I believe You need the ancient dragon knight cookbook 2. I think its in the scorpion river catacomb. Im not sure exactly where in the catacomb though unfortunately.

Really happy that sleep is a lot more viable now. Those extra sleep jars really help turn this from a niche kit into a full arsenal that is very effective.
I would LOVE to see a video where you do an invasion gauntlet. You start off with a club and shield for the first inv and then when you win move to the next like bit better weapon, etc.
