I was giddy and laughing everytime I summoned him and he started with his "CURSE YOU BAAAYYYLE!" speech, he poured his heart and soul into that voice and it's amazing.
I got to hear his initial couple of lines after being summoned more times than I'd like to admit, for the sole reason that the summon sign has that god awful confirmation prompt that doesn't let you roll. Imagine if Radahn's summon signs required you to select yes every single time
I don't fully know the ethics of essentially chloroforming a woman into breaking an oath to her god and being exiled for it, and then proceeding to date her- On the other hand, dragon waif. I guess it's up to the player to decide if that is worth it💀

I can 100% confirm that if you give her the sleep drug it is impossible to get the dragon priest form. You can still get the dragon warrior form though from the dark keep painting.
Big props to anyone who did the Bayle fight without meeting the priestess. She gives you a single use item meant to be used when fighting Bayle that lessens his damage. You can ask her for another one once you've used the last. Incredibly useful to use when Bayle's 2nd phase starts

No, because its a drake, Bayle's progeny, wich the ancient dragon task men to hunt. Her name ends in sax, that means she looks like fortissax and lanseax most likely. Ancient dragons.
So THAT was what the concoction was meant for. A little sad that I missed the dragon waifu and her unique incantation, but also not that sad because drugging her and having her betray her lord makes me feel very bad for a really fucking cool character. Well. NG+5 here I come I guess
You do lose out on the quest rewards for defeating Bayle the Dread tho, those rewards are her mace and a dragon priest heart which allows you to take a dragon human form which boosts ancient lighting incantations

@@boglurker2043 Actually those two are different, not just design wise, the one you get from her boosts ancient dragonclut lightning incantations and the other buffs the dragon communion incantations
You also get the Dragon Form if you complete her quest normally. This route seems like you don't get it. Spirit Ashes are cool and all, but I doubt she's as good as Tiche, Finlay or Mimic.
That is just blatantly wrong. Even the base game tells us that they are waiting for their god to return in a dormant state for ages. It has nothing to do with Bayle. @@dmanking11

Are there any dialogue interacting between the characters of the main game and the dlc? Or are some of the quests depending on your progress in the main game? This is the most intriguing thing for me
@@kayhaich that's what i was wondering. But miyazaki did state that there wouldn't be any interaction from the dlc to the main game unfortunately. But he could be lying
@@sakatakun4138 yer I know no expanded lore on Gideon Ofnir since he's supose to be all knowing and at all And no lore on Melina or the glowed eyed queen Such wasted potential to explain certain mabey there are some lore items in the dlc explaining more stuff to tie up some loose ends but I dont think so

Apparently if you just beat bayle she...dies? I dunno but she leaves a weapon and something that's supposed to make you a dragon (probably doesn't work for me because of frenzy eyes)
This is kinda fucked up... Make a religious fanatic think that she committed a crime against her faith, then tell her gleefully that it was your deed, it just feels profoundly EVIL. Like taking a candy from a child only to throw it into a garbage bin.
I view this as merciful if your tarnished has killed placidusax. There is no longer a lord for her to serve so we simply correct the folly of her ways. She rightfully acknowledges our righteous and wise tarnished as true Lord.
no stories but his kindling states that just like his sister, he had a vision of flame only he hated it. this implies a connection to Melina over anyone else. secondly, the remembrance of Gaius states that he become the commander of Messmer’s army due to their similarities, that being older brothers to the lion and both being cursed at birth. Gaius trained with Radahn under the same Alabaster lord, and was the oldest student. this implies that Messmer is the older brother of Radahn. so those are the only two real deep lore implications i’ve been able to actually find. everything else is mostly just breadcrumbs or other random shit. like the Shaman Village, is this Marika’s home village or what? who is the “Grandmother” in the tree and what does that mean for Marika? so many unanswered questions with new ones posed…

@darkdream9708 after meeting Thiollier, go back to Ansbach and Moore. Talk to Moore and he should give you a package for Thiollier. Bring it to him and to unluckock the concoction
