I have nothing against Rivers users if they don't constantly spam the weapon art. Like if they only use it from time to time to catch people off guard and connect it with lights and heavys

Would love to see the marais executioner’s sword, the weapon art actually roll catches people off guard pretty often, and pretty much deletes half their hp uncharged
i would love marais’s more if the aow could stun lock for the full aow. i remember ppl breaking out of it pretty quick. with its current damage output that would be ridiculous and broken but i wouldn’t mind if the damage got nerfed and the poise dmg buffed
Dragon Halberd + offstoc is rapidly turning into one of my favorite setups. Good R1 running attacks, quick neutral L1s, a spin L2 if they roll around you, and even an R1-L1 true combo.
Hey chase, you should consider covering the envoys long horn. It does great damage and has the meme WA which is literally a shotgun. It’s my favorite weapon in pve but it would be fun to see how a pvp master uses it.
@@Ev1lMAL I had only a +4 long toot and that was still melting bosses I was honestly put back that a weapon did that much damage and not upgraded even half way
I always come back to Zwei. I love it so much. It has the perfect timing, speed, and power mix. It looks awesome. Idk why I love a video game sword but I do.
@@bigsmall2842 I've wrecked a few people with it using dual great curved swords with the couch L1, it's so satisfying lol. I've learned the best thing to do is to try to bait them into the weapon art (all they usually know how to do anyway) and try to keep my self positioned to where I can get behind them real quick

Would love to see the Bastard's Stars! Flails aren't very good but I feel you can make anything work and the wind chime sounds it makes are just too cute, it's my favorite weapon! The Ashe of War also isn't terrible if you ask me
I stopped EVERYTHING I was doing, when I saw The name Zweihander on a RU-vid notification and it's from You so I'm gonna see some QUALITY Zweihander plays. And as a Dedicated Zweihander user since Dark Souls Trilogy to now, I appreciate the video on my beloved Zweihander.
@@ravi-oli In pve, I prefer the Greatsword for its much higher AR. You don’t really need to roll catch npcs anyway. But its R2 delay poke is really good for pvp.

Among other things, the Waves of Darkness ash of war has been fixed so that you can now do the heavy slash at the end of it. Also can't wait to finally see your pure faith invasion stream once you get back! it's the only build you haven't had the chance to do yet (running another char through the game ain't fun!) but since I am a faith build myself, I can admit I have vested interest in that stream! weapon showcase recommendation: Wing of Astel (dual wield)? such a fun weapon with a full kit!

would love to see you do a celebrants dagger showcase. It’s a rare weapon drop from those dancing/laughing broads near the windmills. It’s a curved dagger, acts like a shotel, goes through shields.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to tell what endurance level you need with a certain equip load? Is there a way to see it on the respec menu with Renalla ? Or do you just take your best guess at the endurance when you respec your stats ?
I would love to see to you use Raptor Talons. First weapon that really got into while playing and I'm curious what ashes you think would be good on it.

Hey Chase, always appreciate your series, think you’ll ever cover shields like Fingerprint? It’s not your style, I know, but with Ice Spear fixed, it’s be good to know how to play against.
@@Kharis- Piercing Fang is commonly listed as a counter, but it's way too slow. I can see it a mile away and dodge it with time to spare -- same problem with Coded Sword, Fingerprint doesn't block it but you'd have to be blind to miss the dodge, even if you were fat rolling. Cipher Pata on the other hand is far faster, RKR on anything a scythe or larger can actually deal significant enough chip to be worrisome, and Militia Shotels aren't bad if they got Sword Dance (not Giant Hunt tho -- same problem, too slow and visible).
How do you make these builds with the limited larval tears? Do you have a lot of NG characters ? Cool showcase btw. I definitely prefer moveset over damage. Claymore/ longsword fan since forever.

Great vid. Suggestion for a video idea can you do a movement-guide for pvp like timing rolls roll catching back step attacks crouch attacks and stuff theres alot of new dark souls players now elden ring is my first and id love to watch and learn some tricks for pvp from a legend.
i am once again asking for the coded sword. its such a cool weapon, with it doing pure holy damage, it can shred shields, wonder how you'll use the WA tho, seems like a good rollcatch.
I'm a little confused how bleed works. I saw in maybe your third battle, your bleed bar was a third full, but you hadn't taken any damage. Does the bleed bar still fill up even if you roll through the hit?
One thing I've noticed when doing pve is that the shield chip on the shotel also applies to ashes of war. With ice spear getting fixed, perhaps you could experiment with the various shield chip weapons (shotel, vulgar militia shotel, reapers) with different ashes of war to try and see what would be the new best anti-shield counter?
A good weapon that my brother used to decent effectiveness is the rusted anchor, a greataxe with high damage and does pierce damage. Works well with swords dance, flame strike, wild strikes, and crag blade for shield busting
I love watching you duel people and it got me wondering if you ever actually lose in these shpwcases 😂. Also i'd love to see a showcase of the Wing of Astel.👍
If you use the axe and spear talismans along with royal knights resolve you’re able to deal some really good damage. It’s especially effective against ROB when they try to poise your attack but they die.
When Chase gets low on HP I always root for the opponent and honestly that running attack at 9:03 would have hit me 99% of the time so I thought someone finally beat him! But no, you guys have insanely low ping!
Do you play on first playthrough or a NG+(x)? You have so many respecs and so many maxed weapons I'd think it'd take lots of playthroughs to get all of those larvas and sombers.
I had always heard you cant parry the CS poke, but I was parried doing a roll poke for the first time using the Zwei the other day. Not sure if this was an unlisted patch at some point, but I had always pulled this out to counter when people had a parry shield.

Aaah, the only half-way reasonable looking colossal sword and one of the few I actually like using! You just can't go wrong with the classics! That scythe-wielder reminded me of a suggestion I forgot. How about trying out Phantom Slash on the next polearm showcase? I'm interested to see how it'd do. The ghost's range is pretty wild and you can completely mix-up the direction of your own slash with it. I could see you really putting the pressure on someone with it, trick them into falling for the real slash!
have you messed around with crouch/uncrouch much? the stamina regen is so crazy I feel like its super underutilized. it almost feels unfair when I'm running away in invasions and my opponent cant keep up, and a lot of people dont expect the standing crouch attacks in duels
