As I listened to Elder Cooks talk, I couldn’t help but think of the Temple and the Prayer Circle. I think it epitomises what he is saying and epitomises the Temple. We stand at-one-ment together in a circle with one VOICE, no contention, focusing on the altar, which is a symbol of Christs Atoning sacrifice, with names of those that we need to love and care for and remember in their challenges. What is Zion? No poor among men. To be United in Christ to meet the needs of one another. Love one another, by this shall men know that ye are my disciples. We need each other and we need Christ. If ye are not one, ye are not mine. We covenant to mourn with those that mourn and be disciples at baptism and are reminded of this in the Temple and by Elder Cook.
I very much appreciate learning more about doctrines and principles and applications. I am grateful that you are pointing them out to us so that we can better learn to recognize them ourselves.
I was told by a person that I had to choose between them or the church, I immediately told them goodbye. Later they decided they wanted me in their life so tolerated the church.
I don’t know Elaine… every time I watch this… I think my cousin Kimberly looks just like you!😂😂😂 Thank you both!! I eagerly await this to drop on RU-vid each week. When is the instagram live?
