Elderly Mom Dies & Kids DON'T Want Storage Unit? ~She paid on Locker for 17 YEARS loaded w/ $1,000s! 

Some children live thousands of miles away from their parents so don't know what they leave behind, if working full time might not have time to go through all their stuff.

That means her kids were probably 20’s-30’s. They either didn’t want to be bothered or were overwhelmed with everything you have to do after someone dies. We don’t know what her house looked like. They might have had to clean a crap ton of stuff out of there.

This woman probably inherited from her mother. A lot of the costume jewelry from 50s and 60s. How old are these men? Bush was not president in the 70's and 57 is middle age.

They aren't interested....it's just a fast buck to them...pretty gross really.

Those shirts maybe single stitch but it looks like those Graphics were screen printed on there. The reason why I say that is because they're all square and in same size diameter as the screen press. 🤷‍♂️

If gold and silver or real jewelry can be very valuable, also antiques, furniture, old collectible coins, comic books, paintings and even some toys, dolls and posters.

Sell things now! Use the money for more important things. if you are retired cash out, enjoy life.

Kim, I don't have a negative view of hoarders. In my line of work people who hoard or over collect is my bread & butter. I have the upmost respect for this lady. Remember, I am going to save these items from the landfill and find new people to appreciate them.

Sisterly custody battle lol I had a few of those with my sister but being the baby I would hide her barbie dolls and make her pay me. Oh the good ol days lol

The way these guys handle things- they gobble up money! They folded something in two of the boxes with papers and comics in them, and dropped bits of jewelry.

Some older antique clothing might be even more valuable for people or dolls.

@@hydrolito I find toy collectors are looking for things that were super popular in the last 50-60 years; that's what you see at Toy Shows; Barbie, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Cabbage Patch Dolls etc. I'm not sure what the reaction to the Cabbage Patch Doll was the first Christmas it came out in 1982. I was 12 that year and was only aware of the craziness here in Southern Ontario, Canada; I lived about 40 minutes out of Toronto. People were fighting over the dolls at K-mart and other stores like that; (we didn't have any Walmarts); everyday assault incidents were all over the news from mothers and fathers fighting over the CP Dolls. I remember days before Christmas that year, K-mart at the mall close to where I lived got a shipment of Cabbage Patch Dolls, and they announced this incoming shipment on the local news stations, newspapers and radio stations; the night before, people were camping out at the mall, luckily for them, we had historical highs that Christmas, so it was pretty mild out! When the store opened, there were a couple dozen police there. It was nuts! Even on Christmas day, a 5-year-old I babysat was playing at a nearby park a few houses down from her home, and she was thrown to the ground, and her CP Doll was stolen by what she described as a man in a suit! There were other popular toys that came out over the years like Tickle Me Elmo but there hasn't been anything like the Cabbage Patch Dolls, Babies and Kids!

For many people stuff from the past does not bring happy memories. Everyone was not fortunate enough to feel nostalgic about their childhood or their families.Home was just a place to leave as soon as possible. Those of us whose first reaction is how sad it is that they don’t want to cherish what we think of as precious memories might take time to thank God for our blessings.
