When you balantly dont care about that but rather do the playing dumb card well you need to be punished. I do not feel sorry for those who delibratly bring food and say no on the card before entry. As a typical clueless Male I've always wondered, These women with ultra long fingernails, how in the heck do they clean themselves after going to the bathroom. I would imagine it would be difficult enough to try and shower with those claws. Every time I see a woman with 3 inch nails I have to wonder if they skip using toilet tissue after they use the restroom or if they even bathe regularly. Retired USA RN. We couldn’t have fake nails for this reason. I’ve never had them once in my life. As far as elderly, they become constipated frequently and dig it out. Beware of brown fingernails.

Those days are history in all cultures and countries. It is rare today.

That sadly is not true and is a myth. Young immigrants come in from places like China, get work, then bring their elderly parent's in to babysit. When that job is done, they are cast out, and many elderly end up in social housing, rarely get a visit from their "loving kids" and become an economical burden on their hosts, benefits included. China does not allow that kind of thing to happen. You are on your own.

Thing is in Australia, they rely so much on international students for the economy they are very relaxed in chasing them down. When I was at uni there were always students who couldn't speak the language and never did any work, yet they Always managed to get through. I think they may have got a different grading system or had credits from taking English classes. We once asked to kick out a guy who never turned up and didn't speak English in our final year project, and they just told us to make it work.

If I know anything, after watching vtubers for years they tend to downplay their ability to speak their non-native language

If the airline allowed a passenger on a flight without a valid passport or visa, the airline usually has to fly them back. At least, that's how it works in the US. If the airline did nothing wrong, I'm pretty sure the Aussie taxpayers are paying for the flight.

Sounds like she wanted to go to Australia and chose the easiest education route to do so.

There is also the possibility that she is working, rather than studying and using that as an excuse to be there. The course cost would be covered by the work. Wouldn't be surprised if the husband was also working illegally.

I would think that studying in the country itself means you get a more conprehensive environment. You HAVE to use the language you're studying. You hear it every day around you, and on the radio, tv, commercials. But the basics should be studied at home so you're not entirely stranded if no one can interpret.

I went to Thailand and many people spoke English. She’s been Australia to study English five years and still needs an interpreter? I would send her back home.

I spent 10 days in Mexico and learned a lot of the language. I could get around easily.
