I think the best react videos are when the viewers are given more context/clips to work with and understand something better, or told the “story” of said thing they’re reacting to. I feel like it would be fun to see the elders react to each show individually - given more context as to the creation / concept behind each show and shown multiple clips to get a full breadth of what each show is about/style of humor. For instance, I think it would have been kind of fun to see what they say about smiling friends’ creation- the fact that it was made by someone from RU-vid is something they could maybe find a way to relate to, and open up themselves to more nuanced criticism and “elder” viewpoints than just “This is vulgar.”

yeah, and some of the older ones too. i didn't know the Eric Andre Show, but i couldn't help but be reminded of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. and also Harvey Birdman, Venture Bros. and Sealab 2021, all of these are parodies of old Hanna-Barbera shows that i'm pretty sure they would recognize.

When I tell you I’m sooooo HAPPY to have Elders React ❣️🥹 I loved watching them when I was younger since I did not get to interact alot with my grandparents.
