I’m yelling at you: Why didn’t you aura swap in game 1 against control. Opponent had exactly 10 life which conscription woulda taken care of. They were tapped out!
28:50 why not swapping the aura for eldrazi conscription and attacking for letal? Geist + conscription + angel attack = 16 dmg, opponent is tapped down
Sovereigns of lost Alara just seems terrible here. You're never realistically going to live to fairly cast a 6 mana spell on curve and then untap with it.
Aura Swap! Literally the first deck/combo I ever looked at for Modern and Seth is immediately taking me back about a decade to when I was proxying this deck back in college. Ah the memories :]
That elf fight reminded me of a fight I had in arena where I was running shrines against a dude who top decked Wrath of God, Planar Cleansing, and Cleansing Nova in 3 consecutive draws out of a 160 card deck.
Putting aside the 29:00 punt. Why you didn't cast Steel of the Godhead on Geist of Saint Traft at 31:40 instead of suiciding the Geist into the Clique?
If you have to use a janky 1-mana-aura-as-removal slot, Oppressive Rays is probably better for W as it puts a 3-mana tax on attacks, blocks and activated abilities. If you splash B, you can also use actual removal auras like Dead Weight.
I'd like to see a u/w bogles version of this, the spirits build has some hexproof but you're open to the blowout whenever you don't draw one. 4 invisible stalker, 4 curious obsession seems a great place to start, it draws to the combo as well as being a safer spot for the arcanum wings. Maybe go all-in with daybreak coronet and such.
Opponent match 6 game 2 had the win. fetch put you to 13, ghost quarter himself put you to 10, activate reclaimer get flagstones put you to 7, legend ability on flagstone put you to 4, then attack for 4 exactly.
There has been one done at the release of historic (or was it pioneer?). You should be able to update it easily. Kenobi also have several Gitrog brew running around. But basically, you have two easy road alongside Gitrog. You either go for a value/stax plan >> See Kenobi "Historic Maverick" Or you go for a land plan. >> See Seth "Gitrog Golgari" and/or Dread Dryad Valakut Dread Dryad Valakut is a modern deck so a bit more a buildaround is required, but it should still work considering the format is quite slower. Note that the Golgari Brew could probably gain a lot in Historic by going Jund for Radha.
Hey Seth, I think you're lucky the Titan opponent conceded the second game, I believe they could have cracked the fetch, Ghost Quarter their Flagstones, search for three lands, put you down to seven and then attack with the team for lethal (with Reclaimer being 3/4).
18:18 I was about to belittle you for saying "oh and it wasn't Akroma" when you can very clearly see that it was indeed Akroma, but upon review of the footage I admit you are more likely saying "oh and it was an Akroma". English is dumb
40:40 opponent conceded a won game, he could atack for 4 make you 12.. crack fetch.. take a basic (9life) ghost quarter himself take other basic (6life) use elf to crack flag 6more dmg
It was printed in future sight, which is a set full of weirdness. It was a look into what the future held for magic. Some oher things we got in future sight were the first delve cards, a preview of chroma (later turned into devotion) and the iconic rigger lord, steamflogger boss.
Because he was dead. Not that turn, but the next turn. Empty the warrens makes 2 goblins and has storm. So 24 goblins total. And all Seth had were 2 creatures.
RU-vid’s algorithm tends to suggest videos that have a larger interaction rate (likes, comments, subscriptions) to people. So, the more people comment and like videos by their favorite creators the more likely RU-vid is to suggest it to new people. That creates channel growth and helps the creator. So the people who say things like “For the algorithm!” Are most likely just trying to help.
