The fact that they found their true love AFTER they die still gives me hope lol

Maybe one of the best developed and most healthy relationships in all of television history

Don't mind me just thinking about how they got their memories erased over 800 times and they managed to find their way back to each other every single time

I love how they paired them together right at the beginning and we all thought "Wow, these two don't make sense at all" and it only took them a season or two to make us all rooting for them. One of the best couples on TV ever. I love how they both grew thanks to each other.

They died, they met each other in hell, fell in love, had their memories erased 800 times, but still found their way back to each other every single time.. if that isn't the most epic love story I don't know what is.

The fact that the Good Place did all of this in 4 seasons is... fucking amazing. It’s a work of art. This is perhaps the greatest love story I’ve ever seen and it was carried out in an incredibly short amount of time.

the thing that truly gets me is that when Chidi's memories were restored, all of the moments that flashed past us and signified his strongest memories, were of moments where Eleanor was looking at him and smiling. Even when he got rebooted and had no memory of Eleanor the thing is how a part of him still stayed grounded in her presence. It strengthens what Michael said to Chidi: If there's anything to say about soulmates, it is that they are made.

The fact that chidi getting his memory wiped makes me cry EVERY TIME is so rude

On a normal show two women who look exactly the same kissing as the void around them is collapsing would be absolutely ridiculous but this show made that one of the most touching scenes i have ever seen

i JUST realised that they met in their second earth life when eleanor were asking for help about philisophy just like chidi 's guess about how to normal people meet. Vovv

Geez their ending was so unexpected. I think that a lot of people including me thought they would walk through the door together but wow Mike Schur is a genius for how he did that scene. Made me blubber like a baby for days afterwards

I love how they start out as fake soulmates, there's that whole thing about how soulmates are made not found, and then they become real soulmates

as an anxiety-ridden philosophy-obsessed nerd named eleanor, this is literally my favorite ship in existence.

Best TV couple ever with Janet and Jason not too far behind!! The strength of that show comes from the great relationships between all the characters. Beautifully written and acted!!!

i did NOT expect to be so emotional during the finale...this show is perfect...

This is the greatest, most meaningful show ever made. This show could have ended up as akward, cheesy, pseudophilosophical, quasireligious nonsense, but they FORKING NAILED THAT SHIRT. It's funny, sad, deep, EVERY character has an fulfilling, believable arc from the first to the last episode, no loose ends. Great forking job, all of you.

It's so devestating that they found eachother after they died. I wish they could've lived together but instead they ended up nearly dying, having to find eachother multiple times and then when they eventually get to the good place they realise they can't truly stay there forever and then just vanish into the universe. God I'm crying again

So are we really not gonna talk about Chidi saying that he wished they met like regular people "philosophy conference or after my philosophy class or you coming to my office to ask for philosophy help" or something and when they get sent back she does?!?

In one of the first episodes Chidi asks what the answer is, the answer to whether soulmates exist or not, and at the end he has the answer. Soulmates don’t exist but Eleanor is also his soulmate. So the answer doesn’t exist but the answer is Eleanor.

Of all the things I never expected this show to be, one of the greatest love stories ever told is HIGH on the list...

Okay but chidi talking about how they could have met & saying 'you come knocking on my office door to help you with philosophy' & then them meeting that exact way for their second chance life 🥺🥺 the cutest foreshadowing perhaps ?

I love them together. They have great chemistry. I found out that “Chidi” was extremely intimidated by “Eleanor “ Because he respected and admired her so much. I thought that was pretty cool. They’re really good friends in real life but I LOVE them together. I can watch an episode of this show and it always puts me in a good mood. I was devastated when he got his memory wiped in season four but was so happy when he got it Back! Love them ❤️

I've never been a big fan of TV shows. So, it took many years for another series to replace my previous favorite, M.A.S.H. Well... The Good Place did it with ease. I was not prepared for how profoundly this show would affect me. Not only did I fall in love with all of the main characters, but also their relationships with each other. Especially the connection between Eleanor and Chidi. The comedy made me laugh so hard, there were times I thought I'd crack a rib. LOL. But, what really caught me off-guard was how deeply the tender moments touched me. This show, twice, actually brought me to genuine tears. And that's not easy. To this day, I have only been able to watch the finale once. Bravo, Michael Schur! Your masterpiece got to me in ways that no other TV show ever has. And I loved it. Thank you. 😊
