David Ayer is a director known for his lack of taste. It should come as no surprise that his films are also very popular with right-wing audiences. Now, however, Ayer has gone one step further with "The Beekeeper", in which he has made an almost two-hour long campaign ad for Donald Trump. Jason Statham plays the role of a vengeful beekeeper who not only wants to take down an online fraudster and his criminal network, but also gradually uncovers a huge conspiracy that leads from the secret services to the White House.
