I love the Podcast. Your ability to help me understand economics as a regular member of the public can not be overstated.

14:22 we dont know why productivity is lower? That has shocked me! Here's three reasons: 1. Capital shallowing from population growth outstripping housebuilding, infrastructure development, and business investment. 2. Energy costs in the UK being far higher than our peers, sending manufacturing overseas. 2. Too much unskilled labour

Please get Gary Stevenson on he has a great voice for why our system is failing and no economists are talking about wealth distribution and how it affects the real economy.

The drop in productivity coincided with the drop in interest rates to 300 year lows. Could this have been a cause?

Has anybody else caught up with the very recent analysis of Spending Plans of a few political parties here in Blighty? Anybody else wondering how many 'out there' assumptions have gone into this document? Anybody else wondering how this Institution justifies using the economy of USA as a reasonable indicator of probable outcomes here?

Why is so little discussion on how behavioural economics and finance, in addition to neuroeconomics can be used to stimulate the economy?
