its not 5to 6 yrs bro it depends on no of charging cycles for example nexon battery lost 1500 cycle before start degrade....so for basic nexon ev the claimed milage is 312 but in real world we will get 250 km per charge so we will run about 1500*250=375000km ...at the time battery start degrade ...not all cells in battery ,need to replace only failed cells to change...it wont cost 4 -5 lakh...petrol car i think wont last that much u have change entire car or engine at that time....and service cost also very less ie 1500 to 2000 not like petrol car...i am living with ev ...the above presention good for short travels less than 50km ...

he is correct i saw some ev owners using rooftap on grid solar system...mostlly 3kw ...the energy generated goes to grid ...which will be removed in monthly bills ...so that the charging cost is zero for ev......so free kms...but u have to invest first about 2lac and it free for 25yrs...
