Thanks for an informative video! As an electric car owner I totally agree with you. The first question to answer before buying an electric car, is how am I going to charge it. AC- charging at night at home in the garage or on the driveway is the natural charing environment for an electric car. All other solutions are quite more challenging for the owner.
I bought a Nissan LEAF as a second car in Sydney Australia. Our other car is a petrol. I was originally considering an IONIQ so your channel helped me make my move to an EV thank you.
I have also an Ioniq just like yours and I am so happy with it, especially now when the gas and electricity prices are soaring, and I am charging on my new solar array 😊 I am saying that I am driving on sunshine 😉. Thank you for the video.
thanks for video. right now i have passat b7 1.6tdi and i am selling it to buy ioniq 28kwh. well, it is cheaper than 38kwh version, but for my needs (95% city driving, daily around 50km) it will be perfect. we are family of 5, so vw up or twingo is not an option. and we have a house with driveway but no garage, so we will make it somehow :)
Most level 2 chargers are certified for outdoor use. All you need is an electrician to put in the wiring for you. A level 2 charger will have no trouble charging it.
