Hello, I have a question for you. I installed a loop of 16 gauge wire about 350 feet across part of my land. I would like to install another loop in another part of the field but since I no longer have enough 16 gauge wire can I use the wire that came with the kit purchased which is 20 gauge. The new loop will have approximately 200 to 250 feet in length and both loops would be linked together and operated on the same transmitter. Thanks in advance for your help and reply,
I want to do full yard however for several months out of the the yard is very wet(flooded by pond and creek) woukd the wire be safe u dergrowun in that situation.
I have a back yard that I want to invisible f3nce in. Can u bury the part of the single loop about 2 feet for the part I want the dog to cross? I'm trying to avoid running a double loop which takes a LOT of yard space from the dog
Couldn't you do a triple twist of the wire along the part of the house that you don't want correction to complete the loop? So you could run it along the house then back and forth two more times to complete the loop?
What is the purpose of a triple loop, vs twisting the wires to cancel a signal on the area ok to cross? I just bought a system myself, so I don't quite understand why a person might want to do a more complicated (at least to me haha) technique.
@@OriginalBabyBoi the triple cross would be needed if you were only doing your front or back yard vs the entire yard. The loop needs to be complete but if you run it past your door to complete it then your dog cannot go in and out of the door. So it must be twisted to cancel in front of the door but then tripled to go back and complete the loop. Hope that makes sense.
Great question the best to use is what is called “direct burial cable and the difference between direct burial cable in any other sort of wire and get the pool is heated jacket itself that’s the outer protective casing
