Added an electronic cutout right off the cat on a 92 Taurus SHO a number of years back. Allowed the Yamaha V6 to scream like a banshee. Definitely worth it.
I also have a early 2000's Gm van, with resonator in place of the muffler, drives and sounds great, seems to have gained more power, based on how it feels while driving and reading the speedometer and the tach / rpm gauge.
The Taurus SHO has some power. Ford didn't do anything special with the Fusion Sport. They pretty much just used the Taurus SHO V6 twin turbo. Definitely not lookers but they're sleepers
my dad has one and replaced the clutch in it two years ago. driving it home the issue wasnt fixed, he thinks pressure plate maybe. after it over heated on us and we walked home he decided hes not tearing it apart again and its just sitting now. shame, its a beautiful ride.
they weren't that quick at all. especially for a v8. my friend had a mint one and it was not as fast as I thought it would be. not even close. it was decent, but those engines were garbage. had problems with the cams. cam walk I believe.
How and where do you have the wire ran? I see you have it ran through the floor right there but where does it come out inside? Did you have to cut or move anything?
@@marcussmart3275 : Not quite, but you are close, in the early 90's the Grand Am was part of the J-Body platform, similar to the Cavalier, Sunbird, Corsica, Tempest, Beretta, etc. later on the Grand Am became N body platform. Mine is the 2 doors Cavalier RS, it's got the 3.1Liter Multi-Port Fuel Injection with the Over Head Valves and the Turbo Hydramatic Transmission.

Hmmmm maybe I should swap in either the 3400 V6 Grand Am GT drivetrain or the 3800 Supercharged V6 Grand Prix GTP drivetrain into the Cavalier body, for the extra power and torque.

It's called a bypass gate or bypass branch ,you should know as it was yank jobs that had them fitted many years ago ,most where cable operation and this is servo operation
It sounds like the exhaust broke before the muffler lol. My car literally sounds the same right now with the exhaust broken. I have it coat hanger'd up right now waiting for warm weather.
My grandma had a 2016 torus sho, v6 twin turbo and AWD, that thing fuckin stuck to the ground the corners, i never lost a race in it. I miss that car so much, i was sad to hear ford was discontinuing the model.
Can you completely straight pipe with this electric cut out so that you can change between total straight pipe(including cad) and stock exhaust system with the remote control???
It flows through the entire system but for some reason when the cutout is open and you put your hand on the rear exhaust there is no exhaust smoke coming out from the back
Muh Mercedes got an exhaust valve for the displacement on demand system. Keeps engine sound consistent when one bank on teh mighty V12 is disabled for inline six action.

Frank Dangler there are some vehicles that definitely need this so panties can be droppin. On that hand, it allows clearance to the you know what 😉🐱. But other vehicles likes this or any ricer type vehicle shouldn’t need this at all 😂
