Electric Games 2021 - Is PEV riding a sport? 

To me it feels like PEVs would for now be best suited to be a side show at already established motorsport events. This way they can profit from already existing event planing, advertisment and safety standards, without having to stem the cost for such things. And when their presence as commuting and personal transport tools has become more commonplace, there will certainly be a large enough crowd to justify high quality standalone tournaments^^

I would like to see road racing on the golf cart paths at a nice golf course. Up hill, down hill, long sweeping curves, hairpin turns, bridges. I think something like that would be great.

Great video again Kate! I love the way you incorporate your art. Not sure if Euc would be a good fit for the olympics, but definitely something for Red Bull, or even it’s own category like other motor racing series. I’d definitely be excited to watch :]

More likely to be a part of the X Games, where riders display skill and speed

PEV definitely could be a sport. We have Motor Sport already. It requires skill, its competitive, its a spectator sport, its exciting, you can film and cover the event, it would attract sponsorship and lead to development of PEV's being raced along with improvement to safety gear, training and legislation for our hobby in general.

Imagine an contact sport on EUC´s. For example some hybrid ball sport where you can tackle people... ;)

Races are important to grow the sport and organizer might consider PEV jamboree with different activities thru out the event (3days 2 night).

I noticed a couple of shots where the rider hopped off and the wheel just kept going. This seems like it could be a hazard to bystanders. I would guess a simple tether attached to the top of the frame would engage braking pretty quick.. if it didn't pull the rider over. Something that detected a rider bailout by rider distance from the wheel would also make a good security device. A mere lack of weight on the wheel would not work going over bumps or jumps.

Interested really need to get the brands involved to make it viable in the long term. It's what happened with skateboarding Small competitions by board companies Lead to the X Games and now course the Olympics.

Not essential to the idea of sport, but did you see anyone stretching there? I feel like most riders don't usually stretch before a ride, and I'd imagine that before competing, that would be something to look for to gauge how serious the competitors are taking it. Thanks!

Ogarnijcie temat bo wasze filmy się przycinają. Na tym kanale i wrong way nie ogarniacie ilości fps wideo. Jeśli filmujecie w np. 30 fps to gotowy materiał też musi być tak przeliczony. U was to wygląda że filmujecie w 50 a później przeliczany do 30 a powinno być 25.

Why not? Motorcycle, and hell Race-Car driving are sports.
