Electric Green Machine possible motor/battery problem 

To fix this problem you have to remove a piece under the bottom side of the machine, if anyone wants a more detailed description on how to fix this problem I would be more than happy to show you in a video

Replace the Fuse. Under the bottom are 4 screws, to remove plastic shield you have to also remove 3 screws from front Fork shield underneath. You will see the metal silver Control box, and a Wire with a little black box that says "Do Not Remove", remove it lol. But seriously, replace it with a 40 Amp Fuse or higher. Some people have just removed & connected the wires together & it works. But may cause problems in long run idk. BUT Remember to disconnect the Batteries first so you dont get shocked or blow any electrical devices & to be safe. Never work on electrical with live power. Rubber gloves & Rubber bottom shoes help too. Battery is under Top plastic shield, one screw, then grab it from behind front tire & pull back toward handles. Pops right off. Unplug red & black wires by pushing lil plastic tab down & pulling. Good luck & Great Ride. Hope this helped & the kids can go back to enjoying 😊

My sons did the same thing the fix is the replace the auto trip 15 amp breaker with a new 20 amp breaker from a local marine supply store. I extended the blue wires the breaker plugs into and drilled a hole so you reset the breaker from the top where the battery cover is.

Same problem! I bought two for Christmas 2018 and they both have the problem. And after a year, they should have fixed this! I’m pissed. I feel sorry for the people at huffy who answer my call

As Shawn Potter mentioned, if you replace the breaker with a 20 amp breaker, it will not do this. I just replaced the one for my son and it has not shut off. I bought this on Amazon here:

Just purchased one for my son $20 at a discount store. However, the red button is missing, but I can still press the switch in and I can't get any power. As cheap as I got it, I don't mind buying parts but curious what my issue may be...I suspect the battery or charger maybe??? ....Ideas??? I haven't charged it the recommended 8 to 12 hours though but figured it would have SOME power.

My son's is doing the same thing. After reading the comments it seems that the problem hasn't been solved? Was it a faulty brain box or motor? Ill give huffy a call Monday.

Have y'all check the thermal shutoff fuse. It works after.20 seconds it thinks it's getting too hot and cutting power then after 20 seconds it goes again. Just jump it. And

Mine does the same thing I don't know why 🤔🤔

I used a holesaw under the cover close to the front wheel and removed the thermal switch, plugged the connectors back into each other, taped it up and goes like new no cutting out now.

The one I just bought for my son as a gift for Christmas didn’t even charge at all! So upset I wish I would have come across this video before hand 😒

On the bottom side is a relay I pulled the relay out and tied the wires together. I'm sure that wasn't a good thing to do but it was the only fix I could find.
