Picking up my one tomorrow went for basic trim with the level 2 HK and Pano roof. No point getting the sport JCW for now as no performance difference to basic trim proper JCW coming out next year with the full beans.
I love it. It’s so silly. The round screen, the “modes”, the way it’s all :O on the front and 😆 on the back… I do miss the stupid little hood scoop though!
I have owned a '22 Iconic SE for 2 full years. I think they missed the mark with this new model. I do not like the fake noises being pumped in over the great sounds the car makes without it. I don't like the fabric covered cash and partial covered cloth seats, and the tail lights are more gimmick than anything. I don't understand the need to remove the cover under the hood (engine cover) other than money savings, yet they didn't and should have added a frunk (as most EVs have). I do think that a $40k car should have had power seats so that's a nice upgrade. The added range is about the only thing I would want on my '22 but I have grown to understand its limits and have no issues with the 115 mile range for myself.. A JCW model that doesn't offer more power as part of its package is another disappointment.. When I ordered my '22 I told the my Advisor I would be back and order the JCW when it becomes available.. Since its release I decided to just order a Rivian and I will be keeping my '22 SE.. This is my 4th Mini and just don't see me ordering another at this point. I will be visiting the Oxford factory in 3 weeks, maybe seeing one firsthand may change my opinion... Thanks for the video and the information. Well done.
I was up in the air about the new one until I drove it and spent time with it. It's a huge leap from the SE, as I was at the launch event for that. The fun factor is back in the MINI, and the range does make up for the shortcomings of the last model. I want to do another factory tour to see the new models but the electric is only made in China and not the UK - Enjoy your factory visit as I have been 8 times : )
@@Jcwadventures I didn't want to bring that up but yeah... I won't buy a Chinese car... Bad enough most of our electronics come out of China.. The US has proposed a 100% tariff on Chinese cars so I don't ever expect that to be an issue anyway.. It is disappointing that I won't get to see any SE's made while I'm there.. Very much looking forward to seeing the factory
I’ll be turning off the artificial noise, but I think the rest of it is great. I can’t wait for mine to arrive. I don’t feel great about buying a car from China, but maybe they’ll be less inclined to pick on Australia if they’re exporting so much stuff to here - the reality is all our cars are imported from somewhere.
@@richard7071 I am sure myself as the engine or any noise is kind of needed for sense of speed. Most components are made in China anyway so there always gonna be parts from anyway.
Yoo whats wrong with interior? Where is leather with fancy diamond stitching….where all cool stuff ? What we got here circle screen with roof lighting ? I hope real jcw will be better
@@Jcwadventures well….interior is downgraded. I hope jcw line up will make something more spicy inside. Because this interior LOOKS bad a specially when the car is switched off. Exterior is sexy
It’s incredibly cool looking inside, boring outside; too bad it’s electric 🤦🏼♂️. The sound is so annoying. If I’m correct, you can’t get a 25 Cooper S JCW anymore; it’s a big no go.
I wish the JCW kit wasn't just cosmetic. Even if it sacrificed some range it should have been faster than the SE. Looks good though. Won't be available where I am for a while though.
The range and power is always a hand balance especially given range was the biggest issue with the F56 Electric. JCW electric will becoming at a later date
