At 10:30 of your video. I can't get my bottom bearing to slide back in. I hold the brushes back out of the way, but the shaft/bottom bearing only goes down far enough to where the brushes are barely touching the bottom of the armature.

can you change the polarity if the brushes are backwards?

What can be used to lubricate the shaft of the armature? When i took mine apart i noticed a grease on it

Get a can of spray grease from the auto parts store.
