Hell yeah. I feel like black masses doesn’t get enough love. Wizard bloody wizard was good but it almost convinced me that they might be envious of what uncle acid has captured with their sound. Can’t wait for a new album from them!
I know Supercoven is an ep and everything but Come My Fanatics, Supercoven and Dopethrone are considered as the "Trilogy of Terror" by Jus rather than the first 3 albums. Sorry to sound like that whiny guy, just a fanatic. I would recommend doing a tier list of the non album stuff as there is plenty.
Yeah “Dopethrone” and “Witchcult Today” are not only their best albums but possibly the two greatest doom albums of all time! If it wasn’t for Sabbath I would say without a doubt they are the greatest.

pre breakup original lineup wizard can and never will be matched in intensity and sonic ferocity, shame on you for not including chrononaut and supercoven, those two releases (imo) are way better than everything from we live onward. not to shit on newer stuff, i'm not nostalgic for dopethrone's release day, it came out before i was born by a few months, but just the overall sound of the wizard at that point hasn't scratched my metal itch the same way since i've first heard them. also i'm scared to listen to son of nothing again after this video, i love that song and never noticed that dripping sound you described lol
i see what you mean but i think it’s the “overrated” era of wizard but not for any bad reasons or anything. they were just so fucking good at being what they are! the best heavy weed filled shit ever.
