Hmmm. Lets see now. Electric (Funeral) (The) Wizard. Children of the Grave lyric. Master of Reality colour & typeface against a black background. Hell, I dunno. What do you think?
That's actually the first law of criminology : "An act is deemed delictuous only if known and persecuted by law" meaning that you could kill everyone and figure as the most innocent of lambs unless someone finds that out and press charges against you with plausible or certain proofs.
What brought me here: Saw a dude that had this written on the back of his shirt coming out of a grocery store. I researched a bit and this tune is what I found. Holy shit...I've been missing out on this band for way too long!
yeah, yeah you have. as an Ewiz disciple for the last decade and a bit, welcome to the fold. bong's to your left, acid's to your right, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
"Ligala-haez!" You can feel his pain while he's claiming for drugs and murder. Legalise that shit, for christ sake! Let that good man find some peace...
Remember that having things on spotify, itunes, netflix or steam you are only a rentier, not a owner of copy. Think what will happen if they decide to close their businesses
The bong is a delicate yet powerful instrument and this person has mastered it. Can't wait for the improv solos on it during live concerts, who plays the bong live?
***** I actually do like Kreator, Sabbat dont do much for me though. I feel like most Thrash/Speed/Death Metal bands try far too fucking hard. Like if you have wear corpsepaint to fit your schtick, i wont be listening to your band. Just play the music, fuck the gimmick, yknow.
***** There's no need to dress up like that, Just enjoy the music you say? It works the opposite way too, just play it, stop dressing up and trying to make some statement. Bands like fucking Ghost B.C. and shit dressing up like Satanic Popes and "Nameless Ghouls." We get it, you play satanic metal. The Schtick actually takes away from the music, in my opinion.
Damn, Electric Wizard were ahead of the curve. Dj smokey really carried these ideas to the next generation, going beyond drugs and murder, to actually legalizing nuclear bombs.
That's true, but as far as legalization they always kept it on the down low. They advocated for the free use of nuclear weapons (illegally) in songs like Funeralopolis, but the legalization movement was still in its infancy.
I think production wise, this is the best they have ever sounded - nice and lofi but still super fucking heavy.. I kind of wish black masses sounded more like this, it’s an amazing album but it doesn’t have the same evil low end like this does
When i heard about Electric Wizard 2-3 months ago, the first song i listened was Dopethrone, and i really loved it. I listened a few songs later and it made me in another dimension. I hope Electric Wizard still making songs. This is absolute banger💘
I started doing drugs back in school because I thought it would make me cool. And you know what? It worked! I wound up with tons of friends and I was invited to parties every night. It was the best!
Theres also a loophole where you could technically get away with murder in this strip of land beetween yellowstone and wyoming. Look it up. Its pretty interesting.
Not many people seem to realise this whole song is based off the fact that the most clear line from The Chosen Few is 'Legalise Drugs and Murder'. They're making a joke about their own song.
the most i can explain this style of metal is if you were trying to wave through a smog of smoke, but eventually you just stop and..let it happen. you live in it. it's heavy but it's welcoming
It turned my depression into breif moments of joy, where I smiled as I imagined a world where I could get revenge and prevent certain people from doing any further harm, without having to risk being sent back to those very people.
If something like The Purge was reality (and it probably will be at some point in the future) my religious freak neighbour would not make it past 7:01 pm.
Murder is legal, animal slavery and slaughterhouses are legal, sadly. That is INSTITUTIONALIZED SPECIESISM. Eating animals, dairy, eggs, honey, wear their skins, animal testing, vivisection is legal. THE ANIMAL HOLOCAUST IS LEGAL.
I feel like this song would be great in a movie. A scene with slo motion gunfire and sleazy action. Like a well done Punisher film where the bad guys are snorting lines and drinking and then they all get blasted by heavy gunfire and sick physical combat. Great song.
I adore Black Sabbath, they are the first real metal band in my life. Metal is a very diverse music genre, where I think almost everybody can find minimum one subgenre.
This track brings me back to some good times, 2012 was a hell of a year for me, i remember listening to this on repeat when it came out, still one of the heaviest tracks ever recorded!!
I think I'm gonna have to crank this at my 4 year old nephews birthday party coming up....it's a pool party so it should be ok plus his grandparents (my inlaws ) are super Christian so it'll go over real well 🕺🏼
My favorite instrument is the M240B but these guys play the bong so well I'm considering picking it back up. I haven't played the bong in hundreds of seconds!
"Well, Senator Wizard. You've come out against all of the administration's policies. Some would say you're just an obstructionist." " I'm not, it's just not what my constituents voted for. " "So, can you name just two things you'd be willing to support ?" "Well, I could. You folks might not want to hear them..."
I never got any education on drugs so I had to learn by myself. Now I'm a highly experienced campaigner. I've realized that I can't be happy unless I make getting high my number one priority. Straight or normal people are missing out on an experience that opens up the possibility for anything. When I'm high, I feel connected to something that is powerful and I can see properly and I feel a little superior rather than inferior which is what I normally feel. I was born to make a difference and rally behind the legalization of all drugs.
you know what's funny about this music as a guitarist, I don't think people realize how much of a drug tube distorted, treble boosted guitar is I guess people are into the heavy and the slow, but I am entranced by the electric voice of satan ; )
@@user-sy2vd3kn2x disagree. you can have massively heavy crunchy bass and still have excellent sound quality. this is just a poor mp3 upload, probably at 128kb or less
I always heard “Children, have a break”. But, given the… Ahem, “subtle” reference to Masters of Reality, it surely must be “Children of the grave”. I can only wonder what their thoughts were in the studio. ***Haha, the pronunciation is so ambiguous on this take, this is sure gonna mess with someone's mind. It's perfect👌🤸♂***
