Right?? I get so caught up with so many crazy features on other things that it's nice to remember how good a really dark analog delay swash can sound. I could write a hundred songs in that space.
hahahaha this did capture some classic PF vibes, didn't it?? I think I might have to make another classic style video since I'm in quarantine and have the time and patience for it =D and yeahhhhhhhhh Ahab and TWENTYSEVENTEEN are absolutely insane together. i'll do a quick vid of those two together sometime as well.
Okay so listening back I would BET I was playing something like C# (fret 9) in the low E string then F (fret 10) on the G string and plucking both of them simultaneously with my thumb and index finger. From there I'd guess I'm just playing complementary major and minor open shapes on those strings up and down the scale. Nothing overly complicated cuz hitting that much feedback with really complex shapes leads to even HUGER and unwieldy sounds that wouldn't showcase the effects themselves quite as much. Hope that helps!
Also I am ASSUMING this is what I'm playing; I'm at work right now and do not have a guitar in hand (I actually don't even own the Canyon anymore so I couldn't figure it out as easily even if I tried lol) but that's my best guess based on what I normally play for that kind of sound.
It was doing nothing at all the whole time. The Line Selector effect you see on the screen is set to bypass/off; you can tell it's off since the red light to the top left of the stompswitch is off the entire video. This video is almost entirely Canyon and while I don't have it anymore, I still really like the sounds here and would happily use one again.
