Thank you! My demos have evolved over the last two years to show more of me playing the guitar and bass. During this style, I would ghost myself behind the pedal. Now I do something completely different, which is still informative but way more entertaining in my humble opinion.

I don't know whether it's because the pedal is a good one, but this reviewer really knows how to demo a synth pedal. Kudos.

It's got an Attack slider, and surely the release is based upon the time at which you fade the note out.

Apparently its common (common enough to have a thread about it on the eh boards) its reference to the signal having sustain between 1 and 5 seconds, and rendering the pedal pretty much useless. I bought one and I wasn't sure if I had a dud pedal or what. I was told that its not meant to be an analog synth, while the box says exactly that when you open it.

wondering if i should have gotten this or the pigtronix mothership i just ordered. might have to get both....and decide later.

I prefer the Bass microsynth for guitar as It has an extra slider for the low octave that can be turned off Nothing better than more options, right?

do I need a distortion at all if I have this? I mean, this stuff seems to be considered as a distortion/overdrive as well, if I put pots to certain position, right?

I bought mine last night and for some reason there isn't any sustain for longer than a few seconds, it's very inconsistent, it works when it wants to and I'm returning it today.

I'd love to hear this with some other effects. A bet a mini pog would sound cool with it.

@JetCityMusic what kind of guitar is that? It always has wicked tone and great looks.

get it modded for both if you can, the circuits are very similar and the old ones even have an unnecessary power switch you can use instead of drilling a new switch hole.

i think you do the best demos. in this one, you show what you are doing on the guitar and the pedal so we can see exactly what it does, which is awesomeness at its more awesome...plus you find musical ways to demonstrate these thingamabobs you demonstrate that make the thingamabobs appear useful... as a result, this pedal is under serious consideration for the strange pedalboard in my imagination...

They both will work great with bass but the Bass Microsynth will be more focused on some of the lower frequencies. Vice versa, you could probably use the Bass Microsynth with guitar and it would be cool too.

do you think i will kill my cab if i crank this effect out? the subharmonics seem to be rather bassy for a regular guitar cab.

Can't hear the effect of the envelope because the demonstrator keeps sustaining a low tone while his is moving the sliders. I wish a little more time was spent reading the manual and playing with it. I really want to hear what this pedal can do.

My only problem with this pedal is that you only have a square wave for the oscillator. Plus, the envelope is kinda strange-why not an AR envelope?
