Many times I prefer this over Khan Academy. Khan Academy is more useful when understanding concepts, and you're more useful when it comes to practice. I also watch your videos for math.

Many thanks. Great video. I like how you illustrate with the line crossing from upper right to lower left, like from 4f to 5d to 6p to 7s etc and then 5f to 6d and 7p to 8s. It's a lot less chaotic when illustrated with those lines than it is when you just see a long string of letter and numbers, as in my text book.

Thank you! How can we fond the excited state if different cations and ions? Sometimes we remove from the d before the p but others from the s. What’s the rule?
