Chris might be a good idea to put those electric bikes inside a small shipping container when you're charging them if one caught fire it would be contained just drill a hole in the back and run cables through it better than storing in the house or your workshop and your Idea for the ebike struggle to Skegness do it for a charity I'm sure there's hundreds that would join in 👍

because if they come fitted with the accellerator fitted then it is classed as a motorised bike not pedal assist and then would need insurence tax and mot to be used on the road and registered ofc.

Good review Chris, very entertaining and nice to see Mrs PS too 😍. I'm not too in to electric stuff but these E bikes are good. We've got 3 x UBCO's we use at work. They're more of an electric motorbike than an e bike. Do about 29mph and they're 2wd. Brilliant things, very tough for off roading and do about 70 miles on a charge.

Chris, e-bikes become illegal for road use when you put the accelerator switch on as they are classed as a motorised scooters requiring registration and insurance thats why its an optional device.... legal e-bikes can only be pedal assist. max motor assist up to 15.5mph with a max output of 250k/watts.... so sadly your pedaling to Skeggy.... now that would be a laugh.... i mean cool video😁😁

Chris, electric bikes are pedal assist, which means when you pedal the motor assist you going along. In this country, it is illegal to have any form of throttle or lever control for the motor. The same as scooters, private electric scooters are illegal. Can’t use them on the road park or pavement anywhere, apart from private land not enough people have private land for scooters, so why sell them?😊❤ happy New Year to you and your family. Mate , bloody good idea for the skegness ebike challenge I must say , and well said Archie , call em out send em in if your ebike doesnt complete the challenge its crap and make it better 😂 now you know I normally moan about this stuff so I'm just gonna explain , im a family man , my only genuine concern is you guys honestly , especially the kids , what I mean by that is these ebikes etc and various derivatives of them are well know for randomly exploding into flames , and it is random which for me always has me worrying in the back of my mind about one going bang inside your home as you cant put these things out when they go . That's it , that's where my moan comes from and I wont mention it again 👍😊 be careful, we all love your family too much now to see anything unfortunate happen , so for an old moaning gits sake please consider my advice at least. The Professional Foam Reviewer channel coming soon LOL! That bike looks like it's a lot lighter than most I've seen, but even so I think all of those E-assisted bikes should have hydraulic brakes as standard, those cable pull discs have never been that great. I believe the throttles are illegal unless you're licenced and insured etc. there's been a lot of short sightedness regarding licensing and electric bikes though so no idea what licence would cover those. I know people have had their bikes taken off them by the plod if they have a throttle, but I think they're looking more at the Sur-Ron types or those who are blatantly doing 40mph without pedalling!

for 2p per day you could charge an electric scooter so a child can scooter to school!!!! love it!!

40 to 80 miles yes depending on weight of user and terain ie hills etc o and the speed you ride them at oand you best fully charge the battery before you go out,I could see grandad riding off into the clouds "some time later" grandad retired 😂😂😂, please if riding at night be more carful
