I have never heard this piece of organ music before, so thank you Ben for introducing me to it. It is absolutely beautiful and played so expressively by yourself. It is an emotional piece but, at the same time, a joy to listen to. Another piece I know I won’t tire of listening to.

Ben, that performance was beautiful and played with such feeling and emotion. Your registration was spot on in accordance with George Thalbenball’s instructions on the score. Keep up the good work Ben.

I have heard this played by many organists on many organs, including composer himself, and I really enjoyed your interpretation on this two manual organ. It was very expressive. Thank you for playing and posting it with the videos you also showed of the church.

Beautiful piece played beautifully on a beautiful organ. I've just come across your channel and I am blown away by the balance and versatility of such a modest instrument. A quintessentially English parish church organ, expertly crafted by Messrs. Hill. Thanks Ben.

This is truly the most memorable playing of the Thalben-Ball "Elegy" that I have ever heard. Thank you for the inspiration.

The Great Stopped Diapason at the end is very "lieblich". This is my go-to piece for funerals. Malcolm Archer has written an Elegy of his own; it's is an obvious pastiche of this piece, but nonetheless satisfying as an alternative.
