I decided to put up this little teaser from my new Trilogy Build! It's been a long wait, but it's almost here! In fact I wanted it done today, but sadly, I ran into a huge problem with Origins... For some unexplained reason my game crashes every 10 minutes. In the Denerim district it's every 2 minutes. I have no idea what is going on. It starts with the textures and the lighting(they turn into an ugly mess) and moments later, the game crashes. I tried to fix it in every possible way, but it still keeps happening. Needless to say, this made the playthrough and the footage gathering a nightmare and cost me so much time... Still, the build is coming soon! Thanks for the patience! :)
I had issues with this years ago during a walkthrough I was doing for origin. If i recall correctly you have to turn certain settings down to fix it. Crash happened a lot when going to Goldanna's place or when fighting the darkspawn with all your companions after the charge.
@@StarMarshal To me, it happens all over Denerim. Going in an out of the Tavern, will definitely crash my game. I can't even quick save, because the crash will corrupt it and when I try to load it, it will crash my game. I tried lowering settings, setting cpu affinity, updating drivers, repairing the game, installing legacy PhysX - nothing fixed it...
I remember making a build specifically to body the arishok. Killed him in under 30 seconds with it. It was a mix of entropy, elemental, and haste if I recall correctly.
Awesome can't wait for your franchise force/rift mage build question do I am planning on playing a legion of the dead dwarf champion for inquisition I want to really focus on tanks Ness I wanna be the moving stone that never cracks but I don't wanna use combat roll cause it doesn't help with Danny Ness and the animation looks weird on dwarfs any thoughts
Ahhh, run and chase game with Arishok at Nightmare difficulty... I exactly remember how frustrating and non-achieving this combat was. I did it with a fighter class which have near to non enemy control spell and abilities. Each session was near 15 minutes and took hour to pull of. It was not fulfilling when it ended. This is why Sekiro is a very good game, it is also hard to pull but in the end you feel fullfilled. My advice is, do not play this game at nightmare, there is no point unless you are a streamer or recording such a video. Nice gameplay by the way.
Yup, pretty badly designed battle. Especially since almost every hit from the Arishok knocks you down on the ground. Still, with good builds, it can be amusing. Check out my Spirit Healer for example. She does not run around like chicken with its head cut off lol. She stands her ground and beats this ox in less than two minutes without any offensive spells. So when it comes to difficulty, it really depends on what build you are using and how creative you get when you face the guy. But the duel is poorly put together that is for sure.
Ugh. Ngl, I only have 2 playthroughs for DA2 because of its. . . peculiar battle mechanics. I did one as a mage and one as a rogue. entropy really made this fight manageable and playing as rogue made it easier compared to a mage. I don't want to do warrior as I thought it was just not worth it. Shame, DAO and DAI made me experiment with builds a lot while this game was just too limited in its choices to enjoy build experimentation.
True, DA2 suffers from so many rushed and thoughtless decisions. Most of them could have been fixed but since the game wasn’t exactly a success, Bioware did what they always do if the game is not successful: rush out the dlcs and put the team into other projects.
It's kinda lame mages in DA2 have so little stopping power. A semi-competent mage in DA:O will destroy Loghain in a straight fight without having to run away for five minutes.
How true... The stupidest thing about this fight is that you really can't avoid the silly running around unless you are a tough as nails warrior or a spirit healer. His attacks are just too overwhelming and he resists too many physical effects.
