Day 2 of Elements Fest started by ending the Day 1 Elements Vlog 😂 After a long and blurry first night, we started jumped right into Day 2 relatively early around 2pm for Bellatrxx. For being the first set of the day, she sure had that stage PACKED OUT. We stayed at Wub Hub after Bre's set to shoot for the homie Wusta from 3-4pm. After Wusta, we headed back to camp to drop off my camera gear and hang at camp until it was time for the next set we wanted to see.
At around 5pm it started raining and that delayed our re-entry into the fest. I wanted to make it in time for Zingara but with our choice to out wait the rain had us just miss her which brought us to Daily bread around 7:30pm. After Daily Bread we wandered through the forest for about an hour and then caught the beginning of Mikayli followed by the end of Peekaboo during the 8:40-9:40 time slot.
After Peekaboo we stayed at the Earth Stage for LSDream where it started raining pretty heavily. About 30 minutes into LSDream a festival official called for an evacuation which forced everyone out of the venue. By the time everyone was out of the venue the rain had stopped. An hour later when the lightning had passed, the festival gates opened, but so did the flood gates as it started downpouring again. The rain was so severe that we did not want to leave camp even after heading the gate were re-opened.
After waiting out the rain, we headed back to the festival about 40 minutes after the gates had re-opened planning to close the night with the end of Subtronics and then whatever time was remaining for Skrillex. After Skrillex, the night was over "officially" but the night in the campground was just begining. At around 4m we saw Diceman play a Renegade and then around 5 we followed the sound of riddim to renegade that we found our friends spinning at. 6am should have been the end of the night but with 10 plus people back at our campsite the shenanigans continued into the morning.
We were up early enough to see LSDream's lightcode set but arrived too late to actively participate so we hung off to the side in some hammocks. After lighrcode, we stayed in the fest for Mantra posted in some hammocks where we napped till 3pm. Waking up extremely chilly, we went back to camp to change where we passed out till about 5:30pm and that's really when our day 3 began LOL. We ventured into the fest for Level Up and went back to camp until Rezz, which we ended up missing. We saw porter, but being that the only thing recorded from day 3 up until that point was Level Up, I decided to just scrap the day 3 vlog especially with there not being any dubstep the rest of the night. After Porter and Chris Lake, we actually went back to camp, packed up and headed home to be able to wake up in our beds monday morning and have an extra full day to recovery before returning to the real world.
