Where should I even begin? I love Elena Gilbert. She's my favorite character and I wanted to make a character tribute to her for the longest of time. After days of putting my entire heart in this video, I finally managed to finish it and couldn't be happier to share it with y'all.
There is so much that I could've focused on but decided to go with the obvious: how she went through the worst things but remained to be the most compassionate, caring and selfless person.
She always puts the people she loves first including their lifes without even thinking about it twice, yet she won't let anyone sacrifice their lifes for her.
I literally could go on for hours on how amazing this character is and I know that this video doesn't do her justice at all but I still hope you enjoy it!

I agree, Elena Gilbert was for sure the mvp of the show and was a very complete character. How genuinely selfless she was when it came to the people she cared about, it's how I remember her best. Thanks for the reminder with this!

This is so sweet😭 I have always looked through youtube to find Elena edits and all I could see was people hating her and saying she's selfish! Everyone on the show had their selfish moments but for me she was one of the least selfish characters! She has always chose others over herself but somehow the Salvatores does something else and the fandom blames her!! This is the most beautiful tribute for Elena and I'll love her forever❤️❤️

Exactly. Ppl blame Elena for the s*** Care and Bonnie went through and for Stefan and Damon saving her above everyone. That's not Elena's fault at all.

miss TVD so much :( I've never thought about Elena as a character, she just was main character in TVD for me, but after your video I changed my mind. She experienced so much pain, but she was truly human even when she became a vampire. Thanks to Nina for playing her so cool and thank you for this wonderful edit ♥

I love Elena sm!😊🥰 It's one thing to say that you think she's boring or annoying or whatever, but she is not selfish. I really don't think she's even that annoying. She's mostly so kind and sweet. And she's way more badass and powerful than ppl give her credit for. Also, ppl say she's a crybaby when she lost her whole family and Damon and Bonnie at some point. And they'll compare her trauma to Katherine and Bonnie's saying they didn't cry that much. Comparing traumas and trauma responses is just a messed up thing to do. She's not a crybaby. She's grieving. Also, ppl blame Care and Bonnie getting treated so badly in the show on her. It's not her fault Bonnie and Care were done dirty.
