ELEVATOR SUDDENLY STALLS ON CAMERA!

Filmed on September 28, 2019: With ems318. These elevators in the Texas Garage have been running so well for quite a very long time just like in the Lone Star Garage until now. For such a long process, this has NEVER happened to me AT ALL. We ALMOST GOT STUCK! While we were fixing to go down, the elevator car suddenly crashed SO HARD and LOUDLY!!!!!! leaving both of us badly scared!! My reaction was just priceless. Anyways, this is the last video from my meetup with Eric and including this last video I include for Halloween! Hope everyone enjoyed them all. :D Installed in 2005.

This has happened to me before! And coincidentally, it was a Schindler 500A as well. When this happened, I utterly screamed and I held the alarm for 10 seconds straight until the elevator started moving again. Anyway nice video.

Not too long ago, a similar incident happened that involved Kam (The Elevator and Airplane Finder), Jay (NW Indiana Elevators), and my son Liam (Elevator Dude). They were riding/filming the elevators at the infamous World of Wonders Garage in Indianapolis. They were riding the elevator down from the 8th floor, and as it was passing the 7th floor, the elevator stalled without warning. Liam’s video of that is up on his channel!

I took this as a minor issue with the governor suddenly tripping. I was more scared of the elevators at The Palace when they were original than these when I watched both of them.

I’m thinking that the safety governor tripped for some reason. I had a similar incident happened to me on a ThyssenKrupp traction elevator. Also love the Dieselducy censorship in the video, that is hilarious! It totally beats the Dover buzz.

They were decently just fine. Plus, I watched a video from another enthusiast and they recently redid the entire elevator hallway in both this and the Lone Star Garage, but the elevators still remain original.
