At 1:46, when Nancy steps forward, I get chills everytime, love this woman.

Nancy is awesome in this scene. I love her expression, but what makes it even more badass is that she advances on him as she fires. There's no fear there at all, just vengeance.

Everyone is talking about 1:56 and stuff, but whoever mixed the stranger things theme into 0:33 deserves so much praise.

2:31 Nancy started as the typicall shy, good girl and turned into a one woman army (and she doesn't even need powers). She literally solved almost everything this season, she is resourceful and smart, and i know vecna will be literally shitting bricks when they meet again next season.

This season is a perfect example of how to make a story that still feels satisfying even though our protagonists lose at the very end. Our protagonists win the fight, but lose the battle.

I love how Vecna tried to be intimidating, but Nancy didn't even saw it and focused on the revenge

The cinematography in this sequence was absolutely beautiful. The song, the actors, the effects, just everything. A true masterpiece.

The best part about S4 is that they gave good importance to the entire team. Instead of putting all the burden on El just because she has super power they gave good amount of important role to the rest of the team. I think this makes the entire series very different from all other super hero stories.

El fighting hard to protect Max, Hopper having a duel with a Demogorgon, Robin and Steve coming in to light Vecna on fire, and Nancy shooting him like the girlboss she is while running up that hill is playing in the background. Absolute perfection.

This scene is epic in every way: 1. The way they developed steve and Nancy characters was too good. Steve from being a bully to a guy who stands up for his friends at any cost and Nancy from being a clueless teenager to a person who wants to avenge the death of her close friend is an epic transformation. 2. A powerful villian being taken down by ordinary folks. When vecna is burning with fire and falling down, he looks straight into the eyes of the opponents trying to scare them but the three just stands to the ground and looks straight back without an second thought stating clearly that they are here to take him down and not run away. 3. Robin underplayed her character from the beginning but now it's time to show the guts she posses and her true care for Steve. No matter what she isn't going to leave him alone fighting vecna. 4. It's not just El who will take vecna but everyone together this time for the ones they lost and for the ones they love in Hawkins. 5. Hopper, Joyce and Murray thinking and doing that killing even one demagorgan will help the kids possibly and indeed it helped. Finally on a funny note, which idiot will stand before a girl with a loaded shotgun. Men pull the trigger after a thought but women dont. If they wanna take you then they ll take you down. Stupid vecna 😂

Whoever thought to use “Running Up That Hill” for season 4 is a legend. AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND!

Everyone is talking of how Nacy was shooting at Vecna but no one talks about how Hopper slayed a Demogorgon with a sword.

After re-watching the series, I have to say, Nancy Wheeler's ascension from straight lace schoolgirl to badass action hero is one of my favorite arcs in fiction ever

As I was watching this all unfold, I felt like this was made for a cinema. Those who have a home cinema set up and watched this finale on it, you are so lucky! This felt like a cinematic moment.

This is probably one of the best scenes I've _ever_ watched. Just the way its shot, the music synced perfectly with the action, the music itself. Its absolutely incredible

One of the best shows I've seen in a long time the vibe the chill bumps its sends down you, of course with the help of the music too. You just can't easily match a vibe like this. Great show, great plot, great actors.

I love how the show never downplays the roles of the common people who don’t have superpowers but rise up to the occasion and fight anyway. The character’s roles are very well balanced (except for Will and Jonathan, who really deserve to shine a little more)

Hopper slicing up the demogorgon with the Running Up That Hill x Stranger Things theme will never not be badass to me, this scene is art genuinely

I f***ing don't know how they actually want to top this absolutely insane masterpiece of a scene audio- and screen-wise. This is pure perfection.

The moment the Stanger Things tune kicked in; alongside kate bush's song being played, and all the while eleven was astounded by the disintegration to mist of vecna, gave me the greatest chills and satisfaction that I experienced from anentertainment platform, or from a TV series for that matter. The build up of the tension from all four corners of the story that led to this particular scene was phenomenal! You can definitely see how the gang was fighting for what is left to be fought. Luckily the volume of my speakers was at MAX level which just made the experience more unforgetable!!!

2:22 That was the cherry on top in my opinion. I got the chills when I watched Hopper slice off the head of a Demogorgon!

I can see this being the first time in his life that Vecna has been genuinely scared. It’s like he can’t understand how they’ve managed to push him back. The entire season he’s been quiet but menacing, the only other time he even raised his voice was when Max fought back and that was very brief. When they set him on fire he’s crying out in genuine pain and shock

My favorite thing is when the trio start their attack, Steve is the first one to throw his Molotov, considering his athleticism it made sense, his attack landed dead center with the perfect spread of flames over the vines holding Vecna upright, causing them to pull away and burn, dropping him to their level, and raising the heat so the vines will stay back. Robin throws next, her shot isn’t dead center but it’s a good place to start for Nancy’s turn. Her walk up to the enemy, so he could see the whites of her eyes is a power move in and of itself, but she took it a step further, literally, and refused to back down, landing blow after blow to vecna, throwing him back and making him feel fear. He is terrified of her because she wasn’t afraid of him. I loved this layout because it functioned like a D&D game, with each player having a turn to land an attack on the enemy before waiting for their turn again. The fact that Vecna also seemed surprised that the three of them came to him directly was a small detail I noticed as well. Very brief you see he’s flabbergasted before he thinks “more bodies to the closet I guess” before he gets his shit rocked lol.

There’s a lot about this scene I appreciate, but I think the thing I appreciate the most is that it doesn’t feel like the end. Like, while it’s so climactic and strong and powerful, it still feels unresolved in the best way possible.

What i loved about this finale is that despite being seperated, and not in communication, they couldn't have been more in sync. They have always been together before but this time, they were far but still as together as possible. Now it's a different matter that Vecna is just that powerful that he still won.

The snarl on Nancy's face at 2:32 is incredible. The dolly in on her combined with the music is cinematic bliss. So dang good

I'm sorry, but 1:24 was absolutely epic acting on Jamie's part with the sheer malice in Vecna's eyes. And the scene just sets it up with not only the fire, but the audio of the fire burning. Awesome representation of Vecna's anger!

1:56 I love how Vecna, after getting hit with a shotgun blast, looks less like he’s in pain and more shocked and almost offended. Not in a “how dare you strike me!” sense but more in a “what the hell, Nancy?!” way. I like to think this is partially do to how much he underestimated the party and humanity in general. It would also just explain why he was just casually walking towards them. He was like “these humans are pathetic and weak, I will destroy them easily” but then got shot and realized “wait, guns HURT?!”

This scene gave me so many chills, it still does.

I love that this show knows how to write strong women. Nancy being a target shooter, Robin being brave, Max struggling to survive, Joyce being someone who has no idea what they are doing but trying regardless. None of them act like stone faced "Badasses." They are stronger because of their weaknesses, and we love them for it.

While Dear Billy is the best episode of the whole show.....this is the best scene of the whole show. Harper using Conan's sword to kill a Demogorgon, Nancy being badass with the sawed off shotgun, and Kate Bush song in the background. Just simply perfection.

Honestly, I've never seen a scene that felt so much like playing d&d. The raiding party all moving at the same time, each turn somehow made individualized while still feeling like it's happening at the same time... The incredible soundtrack making you feel the rise in tension like waiting for the dice to land and know if you made it or failed. The brilliance of adding Nancy's footsteps with the beat... It's all so well done! It feels like the excitement of taking out the bbeg, even though they didn't actually kill him.

For me this scene is very therapeutic, it’s a metaphor for your anxiety and traumatic experiences. Don’t let them consume you instead fight them and kill them.

the mix between hot and cold tones with hot being the dominate tone when fighting the Demogorgon then when they are in vecna the cool being the dominate tone and hot mix back and forth between scene the tones are insane great cinematography oh and don't forget the bokeh effect when they zoom into Nacy rifle and hoppers red, white and blue jacket in a warm scene.

There was literally no character who was extra, like everyone is directly or indirectly involved with vecna and show they related it all is absolutely epic!!!

This is out of this world, all of the different scenes cut together, the culmination of all of the storylines, all of them winning, and with the song that has been so important to the season in the background with the most amazing remix, God it’s just one of the most epic scenes I’ve watched. Between these and the og Running up that hill scene, Stranger Things has some of my favourite moments in tv shows ever, it deserves all of the praise it’s been getting.

I can only imagine what the reaction was from the cast, editors, directors, writers, and everyone involved with this AMAZING moment, 4 seasons up to this, and I just know someone shed tears while watching what they made, and understandably so, this was so well made and touched not only mine but millons of hearts. I wish I could watch this for the first time again.

i felt that Hopper did the most work. I mean vecna didnt do shit in the regular realm just took a buncha shotguns to the body. Eleven has superpowers so any achievement she does is nullified for her being overpowered. But Hopper took out a creature that massacred 5 grown men with weapons in a matter of seconds.

Something that always gets my attention in this scene is how Steve’s hit is dead centre (being naturally athletic) Robin hits Vecnas shoulder and Nancy’s immediate instinct is to shoot said shoulder 👌✨

I absolutely adore this scene, especially Nancy here because it really feels satisfying to give the creatures of the Upside Down a proper beating after everyone we've lost to them, Barbara, Bob, Billy, Eddie. This feels like justice to not only Vecna's recent victims but everyone the Upside Down has fucked over in the past.

Is anyone going to talk about how we just saw Vecna/Henry/One just laying there on the ground, and how Will said he still felt Vecnas present
