Elijah has these facial features of a greek god really. You know the ones you see in a statue. Big soulfull eyes, a straight, pointy nose and wavy wonderful hair.....
I'm so glad I found this show! So many amazing cameos from great actors before they had headlines. Elijah is a natural, this scene shows his range quite well.

It seems like everyone has been on this great show at some point in time. Like almost the entire cast of the Wire has had some kind of role on this show at some point in time or another, but also a lot of famous actors (usually before they were famous), like Robin Williams, Steve Buscemi, Jake Gyllenhaal, and many others.
In acting world out there, it is a benchmark to be on L&O. Even already famous actors all want to do an episode. I heard that they have turned down so many offers from famous actors......Dick Wolf is very very connected and respected.

I had no idea this existed till now. Ever since The Good Son I have wanted to see the roles reversed. I wish he had more screen time. He gets cast as 'good' characters all the time when he can play powerful cocky and evil so well.

What's in this show that made it the best of its kind until the present day? The fact that I had 11-13 years when it aired in my country, the fact that It was the first of its kind I watched or what??.. Watching this very episode I admired this kid being smart and "smooth" at about same age as me while "I had trouble matching my socks".. I miss the excitement..

These cops aren't very professional. As if they'd show up at a kid's school and start slapping him around in front of everyone in the cafeteria or throwing him around in an interrogation room. He's a minor, yet they're alone with him? Ha ha. I don't think so.
3:20 The white cop is a piece of work. This is NOT how you handle people with this kind of pathology. They don't have the skills necessary to handle cases such as this.
It's a TV show, and a very good one at that. So his behaviour is written into a script. We know something of both Detective Bayliss and Detective Lewis from watching the show and we know how they've acted in previous episodes. The scene plays out as it does so as Bayliss' behaviour elicits certain responses from the other characters in the scene and moves the story along. Their responses are also written into the script and the hope is that the audience will become emotionally involved in the show and watch it every week. It worked it's magic on me. How 'bout you?
