@@MetroByTMobile I have an account with for long time now 2 years 2 Samsung galaxy phones I pay 85 bucks a month so can I just trade them in for better phones continuing my monthly service with no extra cost on the flex plus
Why do I have to start my PLAN OVER just to get a new phone AND wait a YEAR?🤔🙄 Been loyal to Metro over 5 years! ‼️😐😑 Where is the logic 🤔😳. Nah not letting y’all mess my PLAN up (chit barely worth it)! Good luck with Flex Plan and marketing! Thought I found something lol!!
Our new flex plan allows you to pick the plan that most fits you. We're bringing back that ever popular Amazon Prime on our newest plan for $75 per month with a 25 GB hotspot. Along with talk and text to over 210 countries. If you should need more information from us please send us a chat. We'll be happy to help you out. ^StephanieW
i work at metro and i have seen people with account as far back as late 2,000 so your 5 years is scrap what so what u joined in 2019 🙄🙄 theres customers with longer tenure than you. you weren't even with metro when it was metropcs if you jusf barely been with them 5 years.
So let me guess this straight, it's $10 more for the same amount of hotspot (couldn't even bother to increase it slightly more) and for the trash plan of Amazon plus a three year waiting timeframe in order to trade in your "free" iPhone 11. Uh-huh.
Hi there, Victor! We want all our customers to take advantage of our perks. Please feel free to PM us if you have any concerns and questions and we'll be happy to help you out! ^KristineannD
@@MetroByTMobileSo if my wife and I, both customers for 6 years switch our current plan to the flex plan, we will both receive 2 new phones, for free?
Do anybody want to accept Jesus christ as your savior he want to give you love and joy and happiness and salvation and eternal life if u confess your sins
Metropcs does not realize. The plan for new and old customers is not the problem. The problem is the bait and switch done by the salesperson in the retail location. Why is it when you go into th retail location. The phone is advertised for free if you switch. The salesperson tells you the phone price is free if you switch and free upgrade. This is what is advertised. The salesperson comes over and says some yada yada and does some alien math and tell you can leave with the phone for 350 dollars. I am always confused. By this metro does not realize that the people who work in the retail location are the ones with the yada yada. They need to have someone from corporate dress up as a salesperson and go to different stores around the 5 boroughs because this should not be going on. They can come up with flex chex, whatever thenyada yada is being done by the people in the stores who sale their service and devices it is ridiculous
Dude here’s the trick if you switch to different service provider and come to metro and buy new iPhone 11 you have to be on 75 dollar plan which is crazy I would rather stay in with my own service provider and pay 40 unlimited plan
Good morning Jacky, here at Metro by T-Mobile we have many different plans and promotions. Some promotions we have may require the customer to be on a specific plan. We invite you to a private chat through Facebook or Instagram so that we can better assist you and find the plan that works for you. ^Bivian
They keep making changes because they realized they keep looking money making great phones free people take advantage of promotion and send these devices overseas or resell them. You guys have to understand every cellphone company never will treat there existing customers like new customers there no way that will happen its just rotating circle plus times rights now getting more expensive prices are going to go up. My suggestion would be stay with what you got as current Device if you got new phones from 2021 and newer these promotions are for those customers who never upgraded there phone from 2012 until now those folks who have samsung a01s or lg phones or older metropcs phone that have 4g lte this your time to upgrade at affordable price point and time to do so. Everyone else can stay with plans that they have nobody being forced to do anything
I just stroll into Best Buy and purchase the unlock variant , then stroll into Metro and let them pop in a SIM card (oh fyi I get the Staff lunch - that's my way of saying thank you).
u can activate it yourself for free when u go into the store there's a charge. so u paying the fee plus lunch 😂😂 if you're buying the phone unlocked somewhere else why would u go to the store unless you dont know how to pair the sim with the phone something very simple. fyi just popping the sim to the device wont workm the sim and device have to be paired in their system network for your service to work😂😂
Metro flex is similar to T-Mobile jump on demand instead of waiting 3months or short time you can it's 12 months tie down. plus a lot people doesn't realize now days you can't just pop your sim card think everything will magically work this isn't like att or cricket GSM network it's still CDMA/GSM network just everything has to match on account to match cause IMEI gets attached to sim card for network to work. Also if you buy a phone elsewhere kindly understand Store reps aren't going to transfer your data if you don't purchased device at the metro store location and will not transfer your Facebook or social media that not there job that personal information that you guys are well aware of should know your passwords right them down on paper they won't know your information.
Hi Sergio! We are so glad to hear that you are a loyal member of our Metro by T-Mobile family. With Metro Flex our long time customers now have access to the same new promotions and phone deals as our new customers. There’s no gotchas and no gimmicks-just great deals. If you have any further questions we invite you to a private chat through Facebook or Instagram.
For a company that deals in communication, youre doing a lousy job of communicating what this means for existing customers! You're saying join flex now to be treated like a current new customer in a year??
Why should existing customers have to wait 12 months after signing up, if they’ve already been an existing customer for over 12 months? They should be grandfathered in and automatically receive the discounted prices that new customers are entitled to when switching carriers. If a customer wants to upgrade their phone and they’ve been with metro for over a decade, they should receive the same price as a new customer immediately, rather than having to wait 12 months.
Should get better everything if we been with them for years it's like we going backwards and charging us more and the service terrible 🤦🏿♂️ it's like renting a phone and they as long as the phone is still working only knowing them phones don't last that long is crazy.
So existing customers who sign up are essentially treated as brand new customers and get a whole new plan. I don't know who in the marketing department thought this was a brilliant idea, they should be fired. Why not just do the new phone on existing plans? For people that have been on Metro for some time, there's still no benefit. Just package those deals with the current customers plans. Not rocket science.
Hey there DMBrown, we understand where you are coming from. We've designed these new plans with all customer in mind. Our newest Flex plans will offer Amazon Prime again. Please check it out on May 16th. If you should need us again please feel free to reach out to us. We're here for you. ^StephanieW
@@MetroByTMobiledo anybody want to accept Jesus christ as your savior he want to give you love and joy and happiness and salvation and eternal life if u confess your sins
This is still a business they're trying to keep customers from leaving but they're not giving anything absolutely free. There's always a catch in business. That is also not rocket science 😂
Agreed, for example have an addon. There is now way I'm switching I pay 120 for four lines. And all four lines have Google 100gb and Amazon prime. We always get revvl and they run 50 bucks. So on this plan I will be paying 540 more per year for 200 in phones. No thanks.
Ok I've been with Metro for 15 +years. Yet, I have to pay more a month and wait at least another year to get a free phone. So $10 more a month=$120. Well I can get a new phone for that and not wait a year and not pay more a month. Hmmm my math works better. Great concept y'all, terrible execution on us existing customers end.

We have a great options for everyone. Please feel free to shoot us a message for more information about this amazing promotion. We're here to help you out with getting answers. ^StephanieW
It still doesn't seem fair to longtime customers. I've been a customer since 2016. I signed up for your $60/month plan at that time. That plan included unlimited talk, text and high speed data,15gb of hotspot, 100gb of Google One storage, plus free Amazon Prime. I have three other lines on the account. So I have a total of four lines plus all these benefits for $120/ month. I even had five lines at one point for $150/month. If I joined this new plan I would have to pay $75 for the first month, then $70/month thereafter, plus $35/month for each of my additional three lines. So my bill would increase from $120/ month to $180/month for the first month, and $175/month thereafter. That's an extra $665/year, and all I get extra for that is an additional 10gb/month hotspot and the same phone options as new customers.
David, your concerns are very important to us. We here at Metro by T-Mobile want to get to the bottom of this. Please meet us in a private message to further assist ^DashielC
You don't have to though at least not yet. I have the same plan you mentioned. For me it would be slightly more value for the money since I have a single line. So if I switch to Flex Plus I would get 10GB more hotspot data for the $70 with autopay. For a family plan I wouldn't suggest upgrading to this plan as it won't be worth it even though you could be eligible for a new iPhone at a good discount rate or possibly free after having the new plan for 2-3 yrs.
Most of the free phones that they offer have a suggested retail price of $300 or less. I already have a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G, which has a suggested retail price of $600, and they were offering that phone to new customers for $200 when I bought it.@trillboygaming4332
I’m telling you ima switch my service to xfinity they got better rate plans brother this metro flex stuff is insane people the ceo of metro is gone crazy tbh!
I went into a metro store today to upgrade my grandmas phone and she was paying 25$ a month after I left I realized they changed her to the 55$ flex plan and now they won’t change her back because of a “$50 proration charge” this is absolute bs metro y’all went out bad with this one
😂😂😂 you have to have the flex plan to get this THATS A BIG LOL to the people who been on other plans. My parents have a $40 plan and they can’t get anything new smh way to go Metro lol 😂. Why can’t they get onto it? My mom and dad have been with y’all for YEARS . And yall don’t do nothing for IPhones. So I switched to Verizon and got my iPhone 15 for a good deal at a Walmart

Metro should be ashamed. All these new changes are for the benefit of Metro not the customers. Higher plans, fees to change your most expensive plan (within 6 months) and phones locked (to Metro) for 12 months to get unlocked instead of 6 months. SMH.

I've been a Metro customer for a while now BUT when I bought my new phone almost 1.5 years ago I didn't go through Metro. I bought my phone unlocked through Motorola because of the price and the storage. I bought Motorola Stylus 5G 2022 for $300 256MB storage with additional 256MB external storage micro SD card. When I look at the current phones on Metro all I saw was 1 phone had 256MB and that phone was an iPhone 15. All but 1 has 128 MB storage. Metro needs more options of 256MB storage in order for me to upgrade through Metro but until then I will continue to get my phone unlocked.

When they make Flex more affordable and not put us on a waiting list for better phones/plans and not charge the 50 dollars to change your plan once you’re in the flex plan if made within 6 month on signing up, just maybe might be worth the switch!!!thanks like all the perks but to pay more it’s just easier to switch to other carrier!!! What about customers of 10 plus years ( 1 phone and 1 tablet for 65$) why do I have to join Flex how about just giving the phone to us..and not making us pay more. Ps what about A 55+ year old senior plan . (magenta on t mobile) ps keep the free t-mobile Tuesday's - How is having to spend money to to save money ?
All lies, they are claiming that they are treating their existing customers the same as new customers, saying that they also qualify for the free phones upgrades but when i tried to get a new phone after being a customer for over 4 years and having my own phone for 3 years I was still told I didn't qualify for a phone yet and had to wait almost another year to qualify. I won't be a customer in a year as I'm not renewing my services next month.

Biggest complaint is the service and Mexico/canda plan, that's why they switch to cricket, that has better value in their plan, like unlimited Internet in Mexico, and true no cap on unlimited om the 60 plan
More info on the 16th i think, but they should allow you to switch to the new flex plan you choose even if you are not coming from another carrier and already have service with metro. @MarcusDooley
To bad metro has the worst service, thats why they are trying to give cheapest phones possible, metro 35 gigs on 60 "unlimited" plan, cricket theres not cap on their 60 plan, Metros mx/Canada plan only gives you 5 gigs of Internet in Mexico, cricket?! it's unlimited, cricket had a better value
if that works for you but not everyone goes/needs to go to mexico and its not capped its deprioritized when congested network traffic but its still unlimited
@@jgray0404 if you can't afford to buy s phone at their cheap price, you have no right to have a phone plan. get yourself an Obama phone. They are a service provider, not a cellphone provider. You are paying for their service they don't owe you a free phone.
I pay 120 a month for four unlimited lines. All of them have Amazon prim and google 100gb. So essentially this same plan minus the free phone. This plan is 175. After a year the difference would be $660. All the phones we use are revvl that go for 50 per phone when we replace. So lets do the math. Old plan..................$1440 New phones...........$200 Total ......................$1640 Total on new plan.$2100 So i would be paying $460 more for exactly the same thing i do already....HARD PASS!!!
