I still maintain that it may be a joke about grandpa misunderstanding what cloud computing is and somehow using *SCIENCE!* to turn the internet into an aerosol form. That would still be intensely stupid, but at least it would be "bad joke" stupid, not "dead serious playing this straight" stupid, unlike everything else associated with that wretched comic.

Had it and Executioners, as a kid, and Eliminators is one of the few posters that actually delivered on the poster. I watched it so many times it’s ridiculous.

When this came out on video it was always rented out at my video store, they didn't do reservations at the time so I spent 4 hours one day waiting at the place for it to be returned, it was well worth the wait.

I’ve been looking for this movie for 30 years! I could never remember the title (I thought it was Exterminators, but that’s something completely different) and no one in my family knew what I was talking about when I described it, but I was sure I saw it as a kid. It got to the point where I convinced myself I made it all up in my head, so thank you for finally reminding me of this gem!

I remember renting this move with my friends back in the 80s! One look at the cover and we knew this was our type of movie! An intriguing detail was that the plot summary on the back of the rental VCR box did not match the actual movie. There were similarities, but described a completely different story. For example, it said the female scientist were looking for her missing children. The person who wrote it clearly never actually saw the movie. I've been wondering for 35 years how that could happen... Thanks for a great nostalgic flashback!

Long time fan of your show, so I was thrilled when I saw the video store photo in the opening of this. That’s my movie store Black Lodge Video in Memphis, TN. We opened in the late 90s, have about 25,000 DVDs for rent, and are still open today. That photo is from our original location, I’d say it was taken around 2004. Made my day to see that pop up in your vid. Thanks so much. Keep up the great work!

I saw this film on i's release and loved it, in later life was amazed to find this and a number of my other favourite movies were also written by Bilson and Demeo who are perhaps the most under rated writing team of the late 20th century.

This was for some reason one of my favourite movies as a kid. Me and my friends saw it a couple of times each month 😂 Once I ended up in a fight with one of my friends about the ninja jumping through the big fan. He said ninjas could do that for real and I said not. Good times 😂

I remember watching this movie as a little kid, with my older brother, back in the 80's. As a kid, this movie was amazing and it has stood out in my memory all these years. But because I was a kid when I saw, I couldn't remember the name. For years I asked video stores about it, to see what movie it was, I did internet searches, but could never find it. So imagine my joy when this video randomly popped up in my RU-vid feed today! Thanks for this! Now I gotta go watch a good, bad movie.

When this film first hit the theaters, my first thought was "The Terminator meets Police Academy". But since I had just seen "The Annihilator", I was a little burnt-out from Terminator-like flicks. Passed it up on cable and at video stores, many times since....

Hey, Cecil! I'm really shocked that you didn't mention that Ray had issues with another cyborg, when he told the T-800 that "Can't let you take the man's wheels, son. Now, get off before I put you down." When I saw him, that's immediately what I thought of. The actor, Peter Scrum, was also in Trancers and Demonic Toys.

The other actor who was in the running for Picard was Stephen Macht. Father of 'Suits' actor Gabrial who was also in 'Watchers Reborn' with Mark Hamill. The original concept for Picard was a large hairy Frenchman. Early on when Picard was to have been more of a Kirk type character Jean Reno auditioned. He later joked he didn't understand half the words in the script as his English didn't run to science back then.
