On certain ships where you can play out its strengths, yes. Bi-weaves are good if the ship can either evade in an excellent manner or go stealth. A bi-weave on a Cutter for example is insanely bad as the Cutter can't do either. However, on a Lance or a Chief, it *can* be good if you can evade and/or go stealth. The whole selling point of the bi-weave is to have a low top cap where you can go silent running easily without losing the major part of your health pool or where you can evade long enough to out-regen your opponent(s), effectively negating their DPS. You are also pretty much immune to chip damage or the occasional ping. In large scale wingfights, though, a prismo is always better (on ships with a high shield multiplier) as upfront hitpoints dictate the amount of time (and thus your value) you can stay in a fight.
@@Groundwalker1000 Works in a 1v1 but both the Krait and the P1 are very bad in wingfights as they can neither evade, nor go stealth for a prolonged period of time. Lakon ships have the best heat capacity and management whereas DeLacy is average at best. If yo uwant to go to a larger scale wingfight with a bi-weave, take the Lance, Chieftain or Python 2
@@Groundwalker1000 Python and Krait (and Challenger too btw) are excellent 1v1 ships. Bi-weaves are very suitable here. You might be able to pull off a 2v2 but nothing more than that. Even a 1v2 is not as good in a bi-weave as it is in a prismo, imo.
