I just love the attention and care this game is seeing from its developers. Its one of the reasons i want this game cause i know there will always be new features added and that they don't see it as a finished game

I was curious about visiting this place once the launcher let me install ED on my ext HDD. I deleted ED to have more space for other games the required C access... So, last night I finally got to fly to HIP 19026 B 1 c, and search for the site. I first circulated above the site to inspect it from a distance. Next, I landed about 2 clicks from the outer ring of the site and slowly drove towards it. I was starting to get nervous. Slowly but surely I was closing in on the centre of the structure with my heart beat raising to levels I've never experienced in Elite. This was one of the best moments in Elite Dangerous I have ever experienced. Truly epic. Frontier outdid themselves with this. While ED is still just a screenshot simulator, this place took the grand prize. I loved it! Thanks Obsidian Ant for your guides! :)

Since at the moment I have neither the time, nor the passion to play the game I love, I thank you, Obsidian, for keeping me connected to it! o7

5 sites have been found, HIP 14909 is the only site that you can enter the structure. CRG just completed the puzzle inside about an hour ago.

This is one of the most exciting things for me since aaaages. Looks awesome. All I need now is atmosperic landings. I don't care if it's not on a earth-like planet yet. I just want to have the feeling to enter a atmosphere, and then having to fly with atmosperic flying physics. Maybe a rolling landing or two.. :)

Everytime I see stuff like this from Elite: Dangerous I think "oh man, wouldn't it be great if you could get out of your ship/vehicle and poke around?" and then i realize you cant :( I love how people are discovering more and more about the Thargoids though. Very cool

It's awesome, the sense of scale and alien architecture design is fantastic. Sound design has always been sooo good too. I'd hop back in the game but I don't think many of my issues with it have been fixed. Although it might be cool searching for Thargoid stuff. I had many hours of fun though just exploring solar systems so it was definitely worth it, super chill and awe-inspiring.

I think I landed my Cutter on that planet last night just to log out, after deciding to pick that system, rather than the other two which have been touted! If it turns out I picked the right planet first time, and looking at the video notes I may well have done, then happy days! I'll watch the rest of the vid when I've seen the base first had, don't want a spoil it! :)

Hi there, thx for the video I am right now at that point. There are datalink to scan on top of the structure, however they are not accessible unless you are in a SRV. One is in the central opening. You can drive your SRV up there with a little patience.

There's some very cool music once you arrive. I'm surprised you have that off.

I like to imagine the pattern the overall area represents is that of a launch/construction/growth site of what passes for a capital class thargoid vessel, much like the ones we have already seen, but vast in size and power. The spires could pass for an interlocking mechanism which detach from the oversized thargoid vessel during departure and the central structure is a kind of nest or breeding ground. The scavengers could be the equivalant of space based organisms such as fleas, that feed off of thargoid based biology, but that's just a shot in the dark.

Hello, in the 3:50 minute you see the load of vrs, 3/36, I weighed it only admitted 2 units of load, how can you improve this?

I need some help ObsidiantAnt. I have flown all over the planet on the PS4 and I can't find the base anywhere. Is there a trick to approaching the planet or a hint on what quadrant it can be found? I don't know what good the coordinates do me when I have no way of knowing where I am relative to the coordinate location. Can you help a brother out?

Well, judging by how the thargoid ships look and how these structures look I'd take a wild guess and say that the thargoids are using bioships that are "grown" from the barnacles and the sites that have now been found are some stage inbetween the barnacles and the "finished" bioship.

How do you guys find such sites? I enter a system, discovery scan for planets, scan for all surface details - and then? I'm a rookie explorer on my first trip to a nebular, only a couple of thousands LY away (so, not really far away). How do I even know where I have to search for it? I have absolutely no clue...

there is a base that is alive here: HIP 14909 at -26, -27, and it is alive!! you can go inside it and solve a puzzle!you need an UA and a UP to solve it.

Im positive now that the Barnacles are seeds for these. Either for building giant ships, which this may be, or else for bases to seed themselves closer to the human settlement. either way, they're coming.

Little question-how can i find dis planet objects? Can i find it in solar system scaner-mode? Or i must fly around of planet and look with own eyes?

less than 1% has being discovered by the community yet, they seem to discover these pretty quick, I think some file scanning rather than exploration is happening unless these occurrences are suppose to becoming deliberately common.

What if the structure ends up emerging from the planet surface and reveals to be some sort of mouth and burrows out of the planet and just glides away through space? Kinda like the massive typhon from prey.

My friend and I are having trouble locating this elusive spot...not so easy to see from orbit. Can anybody assist?

How do people find these things? Is it just sheer luck? Are there clues left somewhere in game or elsewhere that lead to these sorts of things? Granted I've only been exploring a month or so, but I never find anything so unexpected.

On the planet but figuring out fucking coords is a nightmare

There's a stream were they actually activate the base from the inside with unknow artefacts, links... and then displays the galactic map... i wonder if there are any hints toa planet or a system there ? We'd have to take a plane picture of it and compare it to ours by overlaping them... maybe we'd find there're different as they perhaps could have knowledge of the existance of locations still undiscovered by humans. Who knows ?

This structure was clearly in the back round of the trailer no surprises here but very interested.
