I’m thinking of running it mostly as a cultist detachment so I can field more of my Blooded troops, they of course being backed up by hordes of cultist mobs, alongside a daemon engine of Khorne, Chaos Knight wardogs, some squads of nightlords, possessed Word bearers and some tanks to ferry them across/provide some heavy firepower.

Should the the Undivided Cthtonian Despots should be faulted for going under after being Horus personal homeworld imperial regiment or Prosperine Spireguard nearly going extinct at the Burning of Prospero, jumping into the hands of Tzeentch with the Thousand Sons? The Blood Pact are formidable yes but can we say they'd do better if an entire Legion with Leman Russ, Sisters of Silence with Jenetia Krole, Custodians with Constantin Valdor, Sons of Horus lackeys, Mechanicum forces with 5 Psi Titans get thrown at them with their leadership crippling them from the onset? Doubtful, the Moebians did just fine before the protagonists came to the picture or else they'd be no threat in Darktide.

Hope world eater will see one day get a least a little bit of evolution and diversity, like idk make kharn find a way to make the effects of the butcher nail weaker so they fall less into madness, the faction is already split up in the lore so why not accentuate the separation between the follower of angron and kharn's warband

What's funny is that they don't hate Imperial worshippers, they just see them as misguided.

the Moebians are no slouches, but are definitely not a match for Cadians. The Blood Pact are probably more dangerous than the Moebians; the standard Blood Pact trooper is nothing special, but they sometimes make use of Blood Wolves and Wire Wolves which can turn the tide of a battle. That being said, the traitor guard would lose this particular fight

Problem is the Tyranid’s Shadow in the Warp ability makes it hard for demons to fight against them to begin with, as lesser demons will be almost instantly banished as soon as they get near a Tyranid swarm, greatly depressing their army. The good thing though is that Tyranids can’t gain any biomass from demons, as they’re made from warp stuff. I think chaos space marines would stand a better chance.

I think they’d rather watch the galaxy get destroyed like its some movie tbh😂

From what I understand melee is more glorious but he has no problem with ranged combat at all so long as it isn't being done cowardly, the blood pact also has psykers of Khorne who channel magic specifically tailored to satisfy his demands unlike the sorcery of other factions which he sees as cheating.

The thing about khorne: Anything that isnt warp/psychic goes (that he didnt give you specifically). Just varying expectations. If melee, find a worthy opponent. If ranged, you better be rack up as big of a body count as you can. Basically: the easier the weapon can do a lot of damage. the higher the expected body count. It´s just that melee is most favoured due to being the most "personal" option out of all. also requires most skill.
