This was in my suggested. I didn't have to watch it but I did. My cat is looking at me in the most peculiar fashion. I now know about elk grunts and chuckles and cow gathering noises. Does this make my life better? Has this filled some void in my soul? Do his calls reach out to some long forgotten elkness in my psyche? Perhaps it's the way he says "lip bawls". Whatever. This is eleven plus minutes of my life that was oddly satisfying.
Paul I am glad these are video and not vinyl. I'd have worn them out by now. Thanks for teaching not only "how" but also "when" and "why". The mark of a truly great coach/teacher!
I learned more in this one video watching it twice than I did watching 50 other videos. Everything said on this vid seems to be what other videos are hiding from the viewer. Other videos just say do this do that making it seem that only air is being used, this video talks about using voice inflection that creates 3-4 of the sounds I wasn’t able to produce from other videos. Just from this one video I was able to go outside and sound exactly like a dumb mature elk that neighbors were thinking a bull elk was running down the suburban neighborhood 😆 THANX for sharing your knowledge and not selling products!!!!! 🤙🏽
Bruce, you must realize that not everyone watching the video is of the same skill level! The video is for those that have a sincere desire to master those tougher sounds so many need a very detailed explanation where others may not. It's for everyone, not just you. Thanks.-- ElkNut/Paul
Thanks for the awesome info Paul. This is my 2nd year archery hunting in south east Idaho. I had a ton of close in counters but couldn’t make it happen. I found your content and it’s awesome it totally makes sense and I can’t wait 10 days 👍🏹
Working on fine tuning my bull elk sounds. More specifically, the chuckles. As an added bonus, I also was shown how to grunt and lip bawl. Awesome video Paul!
Thanks for all these videos, also loved your podcast with exo outdoors. Got my first le bull tag and have loved seeing everything you've talked about actually happen in the wild!
really enjoy listening to you Paul. I've been binging your elk sounds while driving long-haul every night. hoping to put mule deer on the backburner a few days and finally harvest my first elk this sept. keep up the great work!
I really like your video extremely informative i'm just trying to learn all these calls and your video is beyond amazing!! thanks for such an awesome video keep them up
Yes, it's that style! All of the larger bugles on the market today are fashioned after them. With a bit of tweaking they are a bit better than a bat off the shelf!- ElkNut/Paul
Awsome, I'm going to lip ball from a lower spot in a south fork creek in cowiche hopefully to call a bull down to me rather than being on top. I was selected for a Big bull tag in Eastern wa. Thanks Great video
Paul, Smossy here. Girl bought me my Vortex's off you. Glad to see you got videos on how to calls. Let me know if I can give you a call someday. Id love to pick your brain. I believe I still have your number around here somewhere. Cheers brother and shoot straight. Goodluck sunday.
I have a question? What happens if you know there is elk in the area because of trail cameras. No bulls are bugling period. But you know they are there. I have been in elk and not hear them bugle at all. they are pushed really hard though. What can I do to see if he's there?
You have two choices here. Consider the Slow Play Tactic or the Creative Cow Calling Sequence. Both take patience & are found in the ElkNut Mobile App under 'Sequences" Good luck!
@@ElkNutOutdoorProductions thank you very much!! I have not killed a bull yet. That's my goal next year! I really appreciate sir! Have a wonderful day.
I could only bare to watch a few seconds of this. You seem more interested in talking for the sake of talking (11 non-stop minutes of it!) than providing necessary information.
