Imagine quitting your job for six months because you need some "self discovery time" and "time for yourself". Real people have bills to pay.

Her 6 month break was nothing but a nice little period of self-care and relaxation. Sure, that's fine, but it doesn't look like she's actually done anything tangible to deconstruct her racism and develop more respectful thought patterns. I've lived in the town that she's from. There is a huge Polish community there. It was one of the most interesting things about living there. It would've been great to see her actually make an effort to engage in the rich Polish culture that the town has to offer; to actually make an effort to learn about other people and look beyond her own narrow experiences. That opportunity is literally right on her doorstep, but instead it looks like she chose to spend these last few months chilling on a beach and getting goodness knows what injected into her face. What a shame.

So she’s not back after this specific length of time because she been “self reflecting” and “learning” it’s because she has a WEDDING that she wants to cash in on! Disgusting. IF she’s got ANY morals she will either not put the wedding on social media OR donate all monies earns from it to the charity’s that help the people she hurt and slated!

I am 24 and grew up entirely with social media. It amazes me when people say “that was a decade ago.” To me, that doesn’t matter in instances like this. The things she and her fiancé said weren’t things that were widely accepted to say. I said some dumb things growing up, everyone does, but it’s not normal to say derogatory things towards or about other people. Being a terrible person to other people has never been okay or acceptable like they try to make it out to be.

Influencer culture is filled with these type of bloggers who don't take responsibility anything in their lives because they are top-notch narcissists!!
