I remember when they lost their baby and Anna had just been told she had miscarried , Jonathan literally recorded her crying sat on the end of a hospital bed with a blanket over her etc while she was sobbing. He literally vlogs everything. It's awful :(

Glad you brought that up. In the screenshot/title image for that video, his hug isn't even genuine. His body is barely touching Anna. I think that was the first time I had my doubts about HIM. Maybe this is too far but, judging by my instincts whilst watching that footage, I think a part of him was happy because he just saw $$$VIEWS$$$ in that sad situation.

From what I recall of the issue the pregnancy ( if there was one) was naturally terminated way before the fetus was an actual baby. Before the vital 20 week stage. I'm not an expert but it was VERY early on. That's why he called the "baby" squid but got an octopus tattoo on his hand that he ALWAYS put into the camera shot. 🙄 Does he still do that? Haven't seen ANY of their stuff in years. So disgusting, those two.

I used to watch them religiously and it’s never left me how horrible it was that he recorded it extensively. I remember him filming himself playing with the kids outside saying Anna was upstairs passing the baby basically.

She has been known to switch the truth though… she did it on a fugitive recovery channel, I forget exactly which one but I’ll find it asap! It should be on YT. Because they used his footage & then striked his channel for his footage.

I’m so glad you got access to this documentary. Stacey has done lots of more documentary’s about so many powerful things. We love her in the UK. She also won Strictly Come Dancing(Dancing with the stars) in the UK.

Stacey is an amazing documentary film maker. She was involved in a sting operation where 2 women were attempting to sell their toddlers for sex and another with a taliban soldier, when she confronted him about the rape of 2 women, she told him he didn’t scare her. She has made documentaries in war torn countries and highlighted people escaping these countries

Jonathan bragged about the show for weeks before it aired. He said NOTHING after it aired as they were unaware of what Stacey was saying to the camera, when she was alone. Jonathan thought it would be good exposure but, he got a lot of back lash from the public for exploiting his children's lives. Since this show aired, they've lost in the region of 200k subscribers

He did say something afterwards, he first bragged about it that night and was so happy with it until the social media reactions started. Then he complained, angrily, that he’d been stitched up and how the edit was bad. He said he had the full footage he’d taken over those days and kept ‘threatening’ (bet Stacey was quivering 🙄) to release it, to show ‘THE TRUTH’ (dun dun duuuun 😂) of what happened. It was hilarious! He’s beyond delusional.

Pay attention to Jonathan’s response to Stacy’s question of pweirdos m**sterbating over his kids, and also when Anna says that it doesn’t matter that all of the details of the exploited kids’ lives are out in the internet forever because they “have trips to Disney and a nice house and a nice school” etc. This documentary really did shed light on who they truly are and what they are doing and Jonathan did not like it!

This is one of your best videos because we aren't seeing the edited versions of what these family vloggers want everyone to see. We are able to see the kids saying, "no, I don't like this" and just how contrived their daily lives are and how everything is for the camera. Stacy is brilliant at what she does- she's able to put things out there so that she isn't perceived as attacking anyone, yet she does it in a way where the audience comes to the same conclusions that this is a messed up way to bring up your child(ren). Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!

Stacy was on a show when she was about 18 called blood sweat and T-shirt. She was a fashionista but that all changed when she saw where clothes really came from and lived and worked in India for a week. Ever since then she’s been raising awareness to sooooo many issues all over the world that most don’t cover. Hands down she is AMAZING!! she asks the right questions. I highly recommend EVERYTHING she has done. Also Stacy mum really wants her to have babies 👶 not about the money and what they have in possessions.

As a paramedic in the U.K. I giggled at the road comment. Country roads are so common here in the U.K. and I often drive a 5.5 tonne ambulance down them. We have to wedge into the trees to get past other cars. The British are used to it 😂

Looking forward to this video Josh! After I heard you mention the woman who slept over, I knew exactly who she was. Stacey Dooley is a brilliant documentary maker. I went and watched the entire episode after your last video and I was gobsmacked with their attitudes. I think that documentary said a lot about who both Johnathan and Anna really are. I used to watch them at one point, I remember them showing the kids in their school uniforms and then walking round their small town and referring to where they are in relation to London, I reckon it would take someone under half an hour to work out their schools and home address.

I’m so glad you are covering this documentary. Before it aired Jonathan was hyping it up and then it aired he was so pissed as it showed him in a bad light (more like the truth and he couldn’t control the narrative) he completely downplayed it and because it was not on a popular tv channel at the time it just blown by and they didn’t have much backlash from it!

Loved this video! And I am now a Stacey Dooley fan! As an American living in Germany, Josh, your observation about houses in Europe/UK is so right! I live in Bavaria and I feel like I am living in a postcard. The houses are incredible and have lived through so much. In Germany, homes typically stay within the family for many generations, their homes are treasured spaces. I recently visited family in the US and was taken back by how bland and cookie cutter the houses seem compared to the homes in Europe.

when stacey asks the children if they like being in videos, if they like that their parents film videos every day and if they like being part of it and the children straight out without a pause "no" to eeeeverything! even when jonathan tries to sway them by bringing up the "music video" and giving them 'the look' to try and make them say what he wants them to. WOW... JUST WOW. hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time eh.

Me too! I subscribed because I enjoyed his observations so much. I adore Stacey Dooley, you should cover more of her sleep over series. She is currently doing a series on DNA and her interviews are just awesome. So has the right level of realism, empathy and the ability to let the questions/answers ‘breath’ and gives it space before adding to the interview. It’s wonderful.

yes Josh, it's the aesthetic , in fact, we are so obsessed with it, we will pay five to ten times more to either source original materials or have exact replicas made. Even some councils require you to keep the look and you must do a lengthy (several years) application if you want to change tile/stone or even colour on some properties. it's nuts, we are crazy!

Interesting fact about Stacey, she was on a show called Strictly Come Dancing (like DWTS) and became friends with Joe Sugg, she's in a couple of his vlogs from when they did the tour. That was in 2018 so before she spent time with Jonathan and Anna.

The “how to tell if they’re a mom story…” I was once in line at a store buying a 12 pack of soda, by myself with no kids… the woman behind me in line said “how olds your baby?” I was kinda weirded out because I had no kids with me… and wasn’t buying anything kid related…. She could tell I looked uncomfortable so she said “you’ve been bouncing that Pepsi on your hip for the last 5 minutes….” I was like hollllllly crap…. I really am. 😂

Well, obviously no one can see into the future, but from the ones we've seen talk about it, I can assume probably yes. Look at all the child actors in Hollywood compared to how many of their kids are in the media now. I'm not saying that's the reason, but it shows a lot.

I agree. I feel so so sad for these kids :( my husband and I tried starting a travel blog and we stopped because we didn’t enjoy our trip. We were so focused on getting content we couldn’t just enjoy it. And we hated it. Idk how family vloggers do it

I’m so glad to see them being called out. I’ve felt so uncomfortable about what they share about their children for years, I don’t watch their vlogs but back in the day i saw a few and Honestly I think they’re among some of the worst family vloggers in how they exploit their children. I literally watched this ages ago and didn't realise it was them!!! This episode infuriated me as did the one with the family letting their kids decide how they were brought up. Especially when the dad said he doesn't work as it didn't fit with his personality and in this family we don't smother our personality!!!

She's just herself she's gone into a convent recently follows lives ..but in this I can sense her vibe of she doesn't like them much ..because in others she's more open and interested in people's lives she has a good instinct for truth reveals and responds accordingly ..

In 17th century English, it means doll as well, usually referring to females. Puritans believed poppets were evil because you could use them to harm people you didn't like, like voodoo dolls, but it is also a term of affection for small children, often girls.

I'm glad you did this Josh, in the uk in the summer it can get dark at 11pm at night but it also gets light at 4am in the morning or even earlier from what I remember when I used to live their. I was born in the UK and am British but now live in the Canary Islands. I loved this cant wait for tomorrows. Josh has a crush on stacey wow I wish Stacey Dooley would see this too. I hope she does. I wonder if Stacey could do a Stacey Dooly sleepover at the dad challenge podcast - a day in the life with Josh documentary wouldn't that be cool xx

It's besides the point, but British houses have a LOT of regulations and are built to be incredibly sturdy, survive all types of weather and keep the heat in. I feel like you're confusing it for American houses that are built of cardboard lol

Also your spot on Josh I'm from Surrey and its one of the most expensive places to live in the UK, one reason why we moved further north! We brought a huge 4 bedroom house for the price of a 2 bed flat in Surrey 🙈

Did the same. I rented a overpriced tiny flat in Surrey. Doesnt help its full of Londoners who cant afford London. I now live cheaper in a 3 bed house in Hampshire cheaper
