A business man threatening an entire state to do what HE WANTS THEM TO DO or else he's taking jobs with him is an act of terrorism. The people of California have spoken and Musk disagrees with it and wants to cry and sob that since HE HATES HIS OWN TRANS CHILD then all must follow his example and hate their trans child too OR HE WILL PUNISH ALL. Do you not see that is extremist behavior? He's a comic book villain. AND South Padre Island DOES NOT WANT SpaceX. That is indigenous Latino territory and was the one affordable clean beach we had in Texas and now SpaceX is gentrifying it, polluting the pristine ecosystem with jet fuel and chemicals and pushing out the NATIVES that have lived there for millennia.

Hawaii is more expensive and I'm fine with people leaving CA. The reason it's expensive is because so many people WANT to live here that demand on real estate drove the prices up. Taxes have very little to do with it. What I pay in income tax here, I'd be paying in higher property taxes and insurance in Florida, a "cheap" state.
@@Cool-gk8mc yeah I actually left Texas for California and it is 1 million times better. Texas is so terrible and so many different ways. I think people think their lives will be better when they move to Texas and it is so trashy and the power gets shut off all the time and the heat is unbearable.
Yet California has an economy that is the 5th largest economy in the WORLD. It has an economy that is 1.3 Trillion Dollars greater than the totalitarian Terrorist Party Run State of Texas

I was born and raised in California, I loved my home state. My wife and I had to make the gut wrenching decision to move out. California has become unrecognizable to what we grew up in, it's heartbreaking to see...
I’m not surprised. Even small businesses like us wish we could move out of California due to its anti business stances. I hate to admit that I was an enabler as I have supported the Democrats for years but my family and I have left the Democratic Party last year and will be voting independently going forward.

How true. That's exactly what it is. A student should feel free to discuss private matters with a school counselor without fear of being exposed to their family. A kid is a person - an individual person with privacy rights.

I made the mistake of discussing my sexuality with a school counselor, thinking what I said was between the two of us - I was "outed" way before I was ready to cope with it, thanks to this kind of BS. How it the price of energy in CA? One of the highest in the nation. CA outsources allot of its power generation due to CA regulations making it too expensive to produce there. CA is a nightmare place to run a business, that is why everyone is leaving.
California buys 30% of its electricity from other states. California democrats haven't built a new power plant in over 20 years. California imports 90% of its natural gas from other states. Californians shouldn't be looking down their noses at anyone because they are completely dependent on other states for their power needs and pay the highest rates in the country for them.

what about the kid that has a bully father that will beat the kid if they find out the kid is having gender identity questions and needs someone to talk to and talks to the school counselor. does that counselor now tell the father after the kid tells the counselor my father will hurt me if he knows? Hm? Thoughts? Cause that's what this law is about. A child that has kind accepting parents will have no problem talking to their parents about it, but the reality is not all kids have mature parents and it's those kids that this law is for.

That is true. But unfortunately the insurance costs are higher and because of the hotter climate, AC bills can add up too. Overall I think it is a wash economically. But I may still consider going to Texas for other reasons.

August 10th 2 of my employees are moving to Texas (Currently in California. I have 22 Employees). These 2 have been with me since I was merely an employee for another company, and we all got fired, but I had already secured purchasing the business assets, and keeping 5 employees as the old owner Moved his Company to Idaho. They asked me if they move to Texas can I support them so they can expand the company there? I told them yes, not expecting they would both follow through. My Insurance cost in California went up $8k per month this month. I can't afford these Liabilities in California.
Educated population. It's quite a chore finding enough skilled and educated people in many states, especially those that don't have a robust community college and state university system.
