My father, who knew more about that industry than basically anyone, told me shortly after Mr. Softy's 1986 IPO that the stock would most likely explode-- NOT due to the quality of the product but IN SPITE of it. In his words, their product was absolute garbage but their mercenary sales force always got it to the market first to lock down the monopoly. As we see, he couldn't have been more right

I didn't belong to Twitter, quit Face Book years ago when it was obvious is was nothing but a propaganda site for the Demonicrappy Party. As for the other Social Media sites, I didn't bother. Like you, with Elon Musk taking over Twitter, and believing in Freedom of Speech, I may join as well. Wow, I knew Gates was a nasty person from the days when the government had to step in and stop come of Microsoft's business practices (basically forcing PC manufacturers into loading Windows exclusively on their new PCs and trying to force users to use Explorer as a web browser when there were better products available), but I had no idea of how malicious Gates could be. Makes me feel sorry about making a living for a while developing software for Microsoft Windows.

The fact is that gates is trying to show himself as one guy solving one of the world's serious problems right now, but he ends up doing the opposite.
